Welcome to the Tift College Renaissance experience and the State Offices South at Tift College, home of the Georgia Department of Corrections headquarters and the Georgia Corrections Academy. The Department of Corrections relocated here in 2010 after several years of renovation using a combination of contractor and inmate labor. Approximately 400 staff and 200 students work here during the week, continuing the legacy of education and public service created by the Tift College students and faculty.Use this mobile app to discover all the great history and stories surrounding this historic site.
