Con esta aplicación, tan solo se pretende ofrecer una pequeña ayuda a todos aquellos aficionados que buscan en Cuatro Valles un lugar donde iniciarse en el mundo de la observación de las aves.En ella se presentan un total de 44 PIOs, Puntos de Interés Ornitológico, repartidos por las siete comarcas de Cuatro Valles. Cada uno de ellos cuenta, además, con una señal instalada sobre el terreno en la que aparece un código QR a través del que se accederá directamente a un PIO concreto. En cada PIO se destacan los distintos hábitats de interés para las aves (montaña, bosques, pastizales, matorrales, riberas y ríos, lagunas, embalses, zonas de manejo agrario tradicional, pueblos…), sus singularidades, sus usos tradicionales y, en especial, las aves que con mayor probabilidad se podrán encontrar en ellos. De forma complementaria se indican también algunas especies más raras o menos frecuentes que, aunque más difíciles de ver, resultan singulares en el territorio.
Se trata de parajes, en su mayoría, de fácil acceso, a partir de los cuales será posible pasar un buen rato dedicado a las aves.
Para acceder por primera vez a la aplicación se recomienda contar con una buena conexión a Internet que facilite su descarga.
