La Commune de Survilliers fait partie de la Communauté de Communes Roissy Porte de France qui regroupe les communes de :Bouqueval, Chennevières les Louvres, Ecouen, Epiais les Louvres, Fontenay en Parisis, Fosses, Goussainville, Le Mesnil Aubry, Le Plesis-Gassot, Le Thillay, Louvres, Marly la Ville, Puiseux en France, Saint Witz, Vauder’herland, Vemars, Villeron.
La gare de Survilliers fut construite au début du Second Empire.
Fosses n’était alors qu’un petit hameau, à trois kilomètres à l’ouest et cette gare, ainsi qu’en témoignent les guides de l’époque, avait à ce moment-là la vocation touristique de desservir les itinéraires de promenade vers Mortefontaine et Ermenonville...
La très belle « cave Tiennot » située au carrefour central du village, avec ses deux niveaux, son gros pilier monolithique et ses voûtes d’arête, son puits et ses amorces de souterrains vers Montmélian et Saint-Ladre, reste le dernier vestige, en l’état, d’un passé sans doute beaucoup plus ancien que l’église elle-même (époque pré-romane).
