3 ★It would be perfect if I could select more than 1 country at the same time. I live close to the border between two Countries and I have streaming accounts for both, but every time I have to select one Country in the settings of the app instead of both. It would be great if I could select two at the same time and the results could tell me in which of the two Countries the film is available for streaming.
3 ★Like other users are saying, this app seems to be going down in quality/usability. It used to be great and still has its uses, but I've started seeing problems like more content listed as being on services that it's not actually on, and IMDB scores listed incorrectly. There also aren't any shortcuts to seeing reviews, like opening a movie's info page on IMDB. I'm moving to Reelgood to see if it's any better.
1 ★The concept as I understand it is to attack and alert one to shows and movies one is interested in. 1 star for the ability to track TV shows and movies interested in. Zero stars because the app does not have the functionality to alert me when a new season or episode becomes available. I tried "notify me" button and I got a message "list issues. Try again later" for the last week or so. At this point the whole point of the app is non existent. I will stick to IMDB pro.
4 ★it's fine for keeping a list of movies and shows I want to watch. There's a matching app for my tv, from which I can launch items to watch in my various streaming services. This doesn't completely work. Shows on Amazon which require payment work fine. But those included for free with Prime, JustWatch declares as "not available on your tv", and has no way to launch them. Netflix and Disney work fine. Launching shows from my phone went live in the app today, so they are actively developing.
2 ★Edit: For probably 6 months now I've been getting a regular error that happens anytime I go back and forth between apps. When I come back to the JustWatch app it says: "Hang on a sec... Encountered a network error. Please verify your network connection." Hanging on a sec does nothing and I have to close the app, which means I have to dial up the filter settings again. When I'm sharing various movie titles in chat apps while deciding on a movie with someone, this is very frustrating.
5 ★UPDATE: They have fixed most issues I had, so im updating to 5-stars. A must have. OLD: This used to be an app that would be first on my list to install on all my android TV's. Unfortunately they recently updated the entire interface and its a barely usable mess. Sluggish beyond belief and navigating through the menu system is a buggy disaster. Really a shame
1 ★I use the website first. it was awesome at filtering online! I assumed the app would be better or at least the same. I also expected my settings to transfer from the website since I had already set up my account. None of my expectations were met. My filters didn't transfer and when I tried to add new filters the search results said "no movies found". dont care how many filters 1 person could add "no movies"...REALLY. back to the website I go.
3 ★Pretty good for finding movies and shows, but I haven't found all of the lists it lets you add things to, and that's annoying. I like re-watching things, it would be really convenient to be able to go back through my "likes" or "watched" lists and bookmark things I hadn't felt like watching again at the time I found it, or rate things.
1 ★Bad Search - App Useless. I've used the website often. App is a let down. I carefully enter specific titles, and it comes up with general suggestions. If I use a specialized app, I want the first hit to be a result for precisely the words I enter, not a keyword search. If app cant find it, I want a definitive response for that title: "Movie not on Internet". Instead everything the app didn't find, Google did. App is redundant.
1 ★Every link I've clicked on to watch an episode of a show has directed me to an ENTIRELY different show on that platform. I'm talking not even remotely close to the same show. It sucks there are only 2 apps that will track my shows on certain platforms: this mess or the one that never loads when I open the app. I think ill just got back to that one.
2 ★This app is generally great and works well at figuring out where a show is available. Unfortunately, my favorite part of the app, the "New" section, is pretty much broken. The filters seem unreliable and it skips multiple days worth of releases. I'm going to give it a week or two, but will be looking for alternatives if it doesn't get fixed. Who knows what I'm missing?
2 ★I would mark it 5 stars because I love the app itself! However, I was using it today and now there are ad's in it. I don't recall ever seeing ads before. The ads come in when I am looking the details of a movie and then hit the back button to get back to the home screen. I am surprised that they updated the app without notifying the user that ads were going to be in there. And no option to upgrade to an ad-free version? Remove the ads and I will upgrade to 5 stars!
