Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★This could be a good app, but for some reason it now doesn't send notifications for refuse and recycling bin collections. Reinstate the notification emails and this would become a good application which I would be glad to upgrade to 5 stars. Huawei P9
2 ★Update: number of updates but still not addressing basic functionality issues. Notification still useless and still takes you to app homepage instead of what it is notifying you about. The notification is so truncated it doesn't actually tell you which bin to put out. If you tap on the link it takes you to the homepage, so is pretty much useless.
4 ★Developers: Please could you make the notifications expandable (and make them open the correct place in the app)? I use the app to remind me about refuse collection but the text on these single line notifications is too long and cannot be expanded.
4 ★Worth installing. Distances seem inaccurate for "find my nearest", but still of some use. Streetlight faults seem to be missing from "report it".
2 ★I live in OX2 9QN area and I cannot use this app because this postcode is not found when you add it to the address search
2 ★I type my correct postcode but it says is invalid.
4 ★An excellent idea and well implemented. However the 'report it' section should have more options, especially road hazards: broken streetlights, potholes, etc.
3 ★app works fine, has some useful info but I can't believe you can't report potholes. Guess I'll stick to reporting them through their website instead
5 ★Easy navigation, i use the local food links and twitter feed is more convenient. Works fine on Motorola X 2nd Gen Lollipop 5.02
1 ★Does not work with my tablet
5 ★All council's should have an app like this.
5 ★Love the app, especially the score on the door.
