Emergency Service:
Shobdo can be used to immediately alert someone when you are in danger or need help by pressing the power/ sleep button "twice" on your device. The application will send a text message including a web link that displays your location to one or more people whom you added from your contacts. At the same time the application will also post the same message with your location on your facebook wall, if you are logged in. When you do not have the time or ability to dial someone for help or if you need to conceal the fact that you are trying to alert someone, then our "shobdo" application will be of great help.
Police:
Shobdo also tells you about your nearest police stations in Bangladesh, based on your exact location and the distance. It also has the police stations mobile numbers which you can dial from the app along with other information.
Locate Me:
Shobdo has another feature "Locate Me". You can register for this service from your app. It will track your location in according to the time interval you set, so that your loved ones (depending on your permission) can get that information later on from our server in case of emergency.
Tips:
We will regularly update necessary tips on travel locations, what to avoid or look out for.
