How to install Garmin VIRB APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Garmin VIRB APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.garmin.android.apps.virb-v4.4.10.0-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Update: They really need to do some bug fixes on this app. I haven't been able to upload videos from my dash cam for months because it won't let me view my gallery, and says "live preview not available". I haven't seen anything that offers troubleshooting for this. It's disappointing when you have a dash cam but can't even upload/view videos on the app. Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.
2 ★records quality audio and video from my garmin dashcam. However, this app makes it useless for the task of recording accidents or things of interest thanks to bad software. It deletes video you ask it to save. Seriously. I've tried to record a road range incident and a dangerous driving incident, both by saying "ok garmin, save video". All other video (unsaved), pictures etc, are there. But the video you asked it to save is gone.
1 ★Slow, loses connection all the time, videos take a long time to buffer or download. Skipping forward or back on a video causes the app to crash. Every time I use the app I will have to force close and restart at least once. Really annoying that I have paid over £100 for a quality piece of tech but have to suffer this inferior app to use it.
2 ★has an issue with exporting the audio when i play the video saved to my phone a short 1/4 second if audio is at the very begining but the rest is quiet. If the camera is left on for 5 hours, i have much difficulty cutting the section i need out of the video since the controls are too sensitive at that length.
3 ★it works fine with the garmin 45 dashcam. my bigger complaint is about the dashcam. haven't had the cam in use for four months and already it doesn't label the proper date and time. there is no way to manually set the date. the camera will shut down when it gets too hot hanging from your window. there are never updates for the cam, as the site always says system down.
3 ★12/5/2019 - Great news! After 2 months, there is an update in which it now connects to the Virb Elite. I recommend disabling auto update for the Virb app. If it works, no need for updating. * *** * The app connected fine to my Virb Elite until early October. The app tries to connect to the camera, but fails with a message to restart the camera. Doesn't help.
1 ★What is the point of this app? I can share files via PC. which is much more straightforward than via this. Needs more features to justify its existence. The whole connection to the device via sharing gallery is just plain bad design. Connection is one thing and gallery is another. Mixing the two just shows how bad the engineers are.
1 ★Will not load off my Garmin 45. It worked well before the update. It can't find any files.
5 ★It works just fine if you follow the directions. I've not no problems connecting. All you do is go into the cameras gallery menu, select share gallery and a WiFi ID and password with be displayed. Open the VIRB app and it will find the camera. It will prompt you to enter the password. Upon doing so it connects and works just fine.
1 ★The virb app used to work fine but sense thier last update it will not connect to 65w dashcam. I spent way to much money for this dashcam as well. I purchased Garmin because I wanted a good quality dashcam with good features. The dashcam works well but it's features and the fact that thier app is just glitchy makes the whole set up just junk! Do your research and save your money and buy a brand other then Garmin!
1 ★Worked at first but kept saying that the memory card was at the end of it's life span. It was new. I bought another 64 GB card, same error msg, so I bought a 32gb seems to like it better, but now won't connect to the google pixel wifi any more. It's updated and I reinstalled virb twice. Still won't connect.
1 ★Video saved onto the phone through the app is of lower quality than the files on the microSD card, and it takes forever to "share." There's really no reason for me to use this app. I'll just copy the files I want from the microSD card myself, as it's faster and of better quality.
