A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I installed half of dozen similar apps a year ago, and compared them since then. Some of them are not easy to use. The worst thing is that all of them stop working in the mountain trail because of losing satellite signals, except for this one. The most useful and important feature is that it can lock the running, so that the app won't stop running by accident. This is the best one, no others.
5 ★Same as many people. I used this app for years and I was really happy for its tracking, save your recordings to GPX, follow a GPX, data presentation, backup capabilities (only the precision of altitude record is questionable). So, very happy, but since September, the recording is all broken except if you keep the screen on. I used a pixel 3a. It might come from an Android update so it doesn't look fair to crash the rating of this app, but please fix this asap.
5 ★Just installed this app and tried it on a 9.55 mile walk today. All seems fine so far, except unable to export it as a GPX file. Instead of seeing a choice as to how/where to send the file (which I'd expect to see after pressing the Export button), nothing at all seems to happen. If the file has been exported from my phone, then I have no idea where to. [Edit] Have since discovered how to export GPX files, so all is well and I consider this to be the best tracker I've ever had on my phone!
5 ★I got this app to track my longboarding routes and ended up paying for premium because it was the most convenient and accurate tracker I found. It's been tracking 20-30km routes perfectly ever since. One time my phone restarted during a ride and when I opened the app back up the tracking resumed from where it was without losing any data. 10/10
4 ★(edit: come on google, did you really need to throw away all my newlines?!!!) It's ok. Bought the ads-off and went for a run. The things I didn't like: - a short time after opening the app, an unclickable semi-transparent empty overlay popped over the app screen. Were it remains of a fullscreen ad? Was it some "rate us" nagging? No idea, but eventually it didn't open again. - the map sometimes can rotate freely (and sometimes doesn't) and that makes it fairly useless: there's no way of locking north AND no indication where the north is. - in history, you can see split times in km/h only. For the running, pace (min/km) would make much more sense, but there seems to be no way to toggle that. - turning on dark mode w/icon doesn't seem to get saved, on the next open the interface is light again, - errored on an attempt to import .tcx made by mapmyfitness. I would love "best km/mile/5km/10km time" in the stats.
5 ★Very nice Tracker. Wish I had found it before I did the Ultra Paddle. So nice to have auto-pause. With my previous tracker, I had to do printscreens & take photos to get time stamp of when I stopped paddling and when I started again. What a mission. With this tracker it senses when you stop and pauses... then when you start moving again, it resumes the activity. List of activities is so helpful. I paddle (kayaking), run & walk. Adverts are eye-catching without being intrusive. What a pleasure.
3 ★I like this app. It doesn't have all the 'bloat' of other similar apps. What it does, it does well. But it REALLY needs to allow you to edit activity parameters like calories burned, distance, speed etc. The adverts are a little intrusive and the price to remove them a little high. UPDATE: reducing by 1star as lack of improvements. Map drawing performance & track sharing has got worse.
5 ★I had another app before that I could not get going without an Internet connection, that insisted on sharing my results with others and that had a generally bad UI. When I tried to use it in the wild, it would not start because of no internet. That did it. I replaced it with this one. Great UI. Internet optional. Does everything that I want easily. Love it.
5 ★I love the app, it works amazing and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'd like to suggest an improvement: it would be great to be able to "replay" the map of a past activity, so that when you're tracking a new activity you can also see the route you took previously. I go hiking with people who know all the trails but I'm afraid to go without them because I don't want to get lost so this new feature would be a game changer! EDIT: thanks for the answer, I've found the setting, awesome!!
5 ★I like that I don't have to create an account just for running. I already have too many. Does everything that I need. P. S. Use it for couple years. Today the first time got stung: I was making bike tour some San Francisco, was in my 30km when the program shut off itself. My power was close to battery saving mode, but still higher I think. I restarted the trip, but all my previous data was lost.
5 ★Nice, clean app. Works well and gives you all the usual stats such as pace and split times. Would be great if the map had a heat overlay of speed or pace so you can know which areas you were faster or slower at. Update: I'm glad I'm not the only that the app has stopped working for. Pixel 4a. Worked fine two weeks ago. The it's something with Google, not the app, it shouldn't rated low because of that.
5 ★Everything I need for my walks (I'm an avid countryside walker). Extremely accurate (including on off-road terrain), differentiates between movement & non-movement, recording separate times for each. Plenty of stats - speed, elevation, distance, steps, calories, etc. Data for each walk is saved & shareable too, complete with maps showing route taken. Easy to use. Unobtrusive ads. Ticks all the boxes. Update 25/9/21: Now having GPS signal issues so unable to track walks. Uninstalling. Shame.
