קצת רקע למי ששכח:
ב-10 בנובמבר 2009 פורסמה במדור רכילות ידיעה קצרה - 44 מילים בלבד - שעסקה בשרה נתניהו. הידיעה הייתה בעלת אופי חיובי, החמיאה לנתניהו ופירטה כיצד רעיית ראש הממשלה "החליטה להירתם ולתת את חסותה לאירוע התרמה", באקדמיה למוזיקה ולמחול בירושלים, שבה למדו בניה, יאיר ואבנר.
אלא שאותה ידיעה עוררה את זעמה של נתניהו, ואת הזעם הזה נאלץ לספוג יועץ בכיר למשפחת נתניהו, שעמו שוחחה לאחר פרסום הידיעה.
הסיבה לזעמה של רעיית ראש הממשלה: הידיעה הקצרה והמחמיאה פורסמה מבלי שצוין בה שהיא פסיכולוגית. פרט לכך, הוטרדה נתניהו גם מהעובדה שבכתבה מצוין ש"תואר אשת ראש הממשלה מחייב גם לפעילות ציבורית".
בהקלטה שנחשפה, נשמעת נתניהו מטיחה בצרחות בעובד הבכיר: "פסי-כו-לו-גית, M.A, B.A - זהו!". בין הצעקות, דורשת נתניהו מהעובד לנזוף בעיתונאי המפרסם על הנוסח, והחלה לצטט מהכתבה - ולגעור.
"הוא מקבל ממך עכשיו שיחת נזיפה? חוץ מזה - נוסח. 'אשת ראש הממשלה, מחייב גם פעילות ציבורית', למה?! למה?!", ומיד לאחר מכן ממשיכה בצעקות: "אשת ראש הממשלה הזאת עושה פעילות ציבורית כל יום! בעבודה המקצועית שלה!".
ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו הגיב לפרסום ההקלטה בעמוד הפייסבוק שלו:
"הקלטת הסתר שפורסמה היום בתקשורת היא המשך מסע הצייד הפרוע והאלים שמשתולל נגד משפחתי. מה 'התגלית הגדולה' שגילו הפעם? קלטת מלפני תשע שנים שאין בה כלום. האם יש אדם שאף פעם לא מתרגז ואומר כמה מילים שלא התכוון אליהן בעידנא דריתחא?"
