Masa Paska kembali menyapa kita. Di masa ini gereja melakukan “retreat akbar” dengan merefleksikan makna hidup bersama Allah dan sesama. Komunitas (gereja, keluarga, masyarakat) menjadi wahana dalam berefleksi serta mewujudkan aksi nyata. Tema masa paska tahun 2018 ini adalah: CINTA, PERCAYA DAN HARAPAN. Bersama Yesus persahabatan penuh cinta terjalin. Cinta-Nya membuat Yesus rela menderita. Sebagai orang yang dicinta-Nya, kita merespon dengan percaya. Buah dari cinta dan percaya adalah pengharapan. Itulah gagasangagasan yang dikembangkan dalam bahan-bahan terbitan LPP Sinode GKJ dan GKI SW Jawa Tengah. Melalui pengantar ini, kami juga menghimbau gereja-gereja (jemaat) melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan rutin yang khas di gereja masing-masing. Misalnya: berpantang, berpuasa, melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan amal kasih, atau kegiatan-kegiatan lain yang rutin dilakukan di masa Paska. Kami berharap kegiatan-kegiatan itu direfleksikan dengan tujuan menemukan makna baru dari setiap kegiatan yang diselenggarakan. Hal lain yang perlu diperhatikan adalah refleksi bersama keluarga. LPP Sinode senantiasa mengajak supaya anggota jemaat mengembangkan refleksi iman bersama keluarga. Maka dari itu bahan PA keluarga bisa dikembangkan dalam dialog yang penuh cinta. PA keluarga disusun dengan model Shared Christian Praxis (Berbagi Praksis Kristen). SCP juga bertujuan untuk membantu partisipan memiliki iman Kristen yang hidup. Baik pemimpin maupun peserta mengalami pertumbuhan iman secara pribadi dan bersama-sama. Dalam menyusun bahan ini, LPP Sinode sangat terbantu dengan kehadiran sahabat-sahabat melalui diskusi dan penulisan bahan. Apresiasi dan terimakasih kami haturkan bagi sahabat-sahabat yang terlibat dalam menyusun bahan ini.Mereka adalah:
