3 ★Good app but i have struggled with the location based bluetooth unlock function not working. At times through remote access it takes literally 5mins or more to connect. Aside from that everything else works flawlessly. Except in the winter it may need to be touched till warm to read fingerprints.
2 ★Consistently inconsistent!!! Ugh!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app more than 20 times yet it fails to hold my settings. When it works it works but more often than not, it does not work. I am very frustrated.
1 ★Doesn't work 99% of the time. What is the point of the bridge if it doesn't work, wasted money. I always have to reset so that it can work for 5 minutes before I need to reset again to even use its supposed smart features. Sometimes it doesn't lock because of some malfunction that i need to reset. Made sure all wires are out of the way. My family is now considering a non-smart lock to just do its job, to keep us safe. Update: 4 months.. Lock now let's anyone with a finger in.
2 ★Was working but was forced to update and noe the app crashes. Can't get to any info. Also doesn't work on computer. Update, the work around suggested by the developer worked. Another update came out the next day. Everything is back to normal. Thank you for the response and quick fixes. It was corrected. This product is buggy. It seems like every update causes a new issue. I've gone from having a reliable device to being locked if I don't have keys.
1 ★The lock is ok but the app doesn't work at all. It spinns constantly for connection to the lock. I tried to uninstall and install it again...and again...it is just not working. In addition, my Alexa when I ask to unlock the door she says she did it and when I checked the door...the door was still locked. Same goes with locking the door. Sadly will be returning the lock. I don't know how you guys got so many good reviews about your lock if you can't cover the basis. Any support link doesnt help!
4 ★Lock works great, only issue is that it takes a bit to connect to the lock through the app. I'm not sure why it takes so long, because the bridge should always be connected to wifi and i would expect if it is communicating to the lock through blue tooth, that it would connect as quickly as any other blue tooth device.
5 ★The app is well designed, and the company has been very responsive and accommodating. Even sent a replacement part after an installation mishap for no extra charge. Very pleased.
1 ★I have to agree. App rarely works. I was on beta, trying the regular build. If this doesn't improve I will sadly return the lock, which is awesome. I just need the connectivity for Airbnb, so we will see update 2/17 after much trouble shooting, ifttt breaks this app for me, everything works fine until I integrate with ifttt. Update 2/28 just can't get it to work without crashing the main app. Returned the lock.
3 ★Few key things I feel should be added to the lock and app. It should have an optoon to relock the door after a certain time. I.e. you put it in passage mode but forget to lock. Also, maybe have way to program a certain mechanical way to put it in passage mode and take it out Update: 2-2-2021 Units blow through batteries, also have come to notice that sometimes the lock is somehow in passage mode. I never put it in passage mode but yet it's unlocked at random times even after doing a reset
2 ★Hello, The lock WILL NOT recognize my fingerprint AT ALL!! In addition I had a spot of trouble with installing this application on my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G smart phone. I was also having a bit of trouble with getting tech support. U-TEC support sent an email response and they said the problem is with the phone, pointed at the some posts on Youtube user comments and said try this . . . that is not my idea of tech support assistance. I attempted the suggested and it was not a solution. In all fairness they did write back to see if they can help.me resolve the problem. The lock will not recognize or save my fingerprint. It works on most people but will not work on me. I guess I am SPECIAL :) The lock does work well for most people.
4 ★I really like that I can unlock and lock my door anytime from the app. It also has an option where it knows if your home or not and if you have this option set when you get close to home it will unlock your door. Installation was pretty easy. There's an option in there where it will lock the door after 30 seconds and this is set by default almost got locked out before I downloaded the app 2 turn this option off. You can also give family members their own code. So far so good recommend
2 ★Slow to connect, but opens most of the time after latest update. UPDATE: still very slow, no firmware updates. Check app reviews before buying.
