How to install Resident App APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Resident App APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

1 ★Every time I open the app it prompts me for a password. I input the password, and it says I have the wrong password. Weird, because I know it's the right password. I hit the reset/forgot my password button, and it lets me in. I don't know if that's a bug, or a really big security oversight, but in either case it should be fixed.
1 ★I have an android. I was told to download to put in a maitance request. Well, the app just loads and never installs. This is horrible the old system was alot better. If it isn't broke just leave it alone.
1 ★I don't usually write reviews, but this app is awful. It took me 4 hours to try to make an account and then I could make a maintenance request for a minor item, now I can't get back into the app.
5 ★*MANY REVIEWS HAVE A RESPONSE FROM SIGHTPLAN PROVIDING A PHONE NUMBER (ending in 7886) WHICH IS INCORRECT. THE CORRECT NUMBER ENDS 7866. This is my only concern so far and reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Just downloaded this app for accessing maintenance and administration at my apartment complex. Seems very straight-forward, simple, and easy to use. I haven't used it yet, but Sightplan's online chat support was excellent at helping me get started. The system was very responsive and allowed me to upload screenshots. Zac, the representative, was also very responsive, knowledgeable, and effective at leading me through the process and addressing my concerns. Great experience so far!
1 ★Always says password os wrong even after just changing it .but it is what my community uses for maintenence requests..
1 ★not useful for contacting maintenance at 1am when it's raining in my bathroom. Half the time I couldn't even log in. Sightplan mobile is useless also. I cant pay rent and apparently none of my emergency work orders went through when I had a leak.
1 ★I have tried to download this app 3 to 4 times but know good they say its easy as 123.they should have other ways of submitting orders complaints Etc I give this app a thumbs down you follow the instructions that was given to you and still no good.it says not putting in the right information I'm not understanding if you send me a notification from the office and my email account and I'm putting in the correct email but it's saying it can't find you and our files somebody's confused not me!
1 ★Forced to install this app by management, probably to get download numbers for SightPlan and to collect data from my phone. Provides no more functionality than the resident portal. I keep it disabled.
1 ★I have an account and I can pull it up on one device. However, I can't recall my password to open it on a new device. When I go to retrieve my password the app says my account doesn't exist. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still I cannot get access.
2 ★It doesn't even allow me to log in properly.... I have to wait for the error then press "forgot password" then it magically goes to where I was trying to get to. And my apartments expect me to use this to pay rent?... suspicious...
1 ★This app is the cheapest that landlords in California pay for ever since 2019. Not user-friendly totally cheap-o. The resident cafe is far more superior and evident based on the reviews well over 4.5 while this cheapy app called the resident quote unquote app is only at 2.6 stars No wonder why The office does not get the response quickly and there is not a feature to record audio and video like before Essex property trust you need to do better!
1 ★this app keeps telling me it cant find any record of my email address or mobile number. ive read all the bad reviews here and agree this thing is total trash, there should be a 0- 5 rating on how bad this thing is itll get a o5 from me.
