1 ★If I could, I would give this zero stars! I was able to use the app in 2019, now it won't work!!! It says check internet connection because it can't find me. I've tried it with and without wifi multiple time. I have deleted and redownload it and it still won't work! The date for the matches show Dec 31 and I can't pick a different date!! I'm very upset, now I never know when matches will start and I can't keep track of the scoring! FIX YOUR APP, LIKE SERIOUSLY THIS IS TOTAL BULL!!!
2 ★The app is great in most ways. I believe it would be much better if they had the leauge shop incorporated into the app instead of sending you to your browser. additionally, the match notifications don't show unless the app is open, causing you to need it open if you want a notification of your games (which caused me to miss some). overall, its ok, but has A LOT of room for improvement
1 ★This app is pretty buggy. A lot of the information doesn't show due to an error of some kind. It also used to have more options in terms of viewing matches (I used to be able to cast matches from the app to my tv, but not anymore...and it streams at 30FPS). It's honestly better to just watch on YouTube. The app wasn't great, but it was at least functional before.
2 ★I love OW and OWL but this app could use some work. The app for some reason messes with the audio on my phone and if im casting audio to any device it will randomly stary playing out of my phone. this stops immediately when I close the app. I also have issues with casting to my Chromecast, it crashes frequently and I also think im not getting OWL tokens(if thats what theyre called), but only when Im casting it.
1 ★The whole reason I got this app was to make watching the livestream easier. I should have gotten at least 50+ tokens for watching the stream all day on multiple occasions but have not received a single one except for the 6 I got from my playstation browser (after I logged into my blizzard account, it wasn't counting the hours from before I would stop at halftime to try and login) I am deleting this app right now because it literally does nothing for me
3 ★OWL App is going through some struggles. Last year this app was my best friend. It hardly ever had problems and I used it constantly to check on my favorite team. From the beginning of this year I've had nothing but problems. At first the "Servers wouldn't connect," and now only this week loads when I look at upcoming matches. If I try to look at the previous week or the upcoming week, all I get is a blank screen. Blizzard, I loved this app and I love what you all do, so please try and fix this!
2 ★This app is kinda clunky. I enjoy being able to watch my league and earn my tokens but it doesn't always sync up when you want to watch it live first of all. Second, I don't always earn my tokens. I watched June 27th-28th, almost all matches except the ones that were in Asia because of the time difference. Here we are July 3rd, no tokens AT ALL. No solutions for that either. So far I've just been told I'm out of luck. Which has been true so far.
2 ★Used to use the app more often but ever since I belive October the app never loads articles. I try with wifi or data but it still never works. Go to the website if you want the articles to load because the app at least right now is trash.
3 ★Had a good experience with the app in first season, why it has an OK rating. This season the video on mobile won't leave portrait when I turn my phone, leaving it too small to watch. Have no problems with this on other apps (like YouTube or Twitch). If they fix, then it's definitely a quality app, but currently unusable for its main purpose.
3 ★The app overall is okay. It lets me watch matches live or afterwards, sends notifications when there are matches for my favorite teams, and allows me to easily find news articles relevant to said teams. However, there are lots of ways it could be improved. I won't get into that because there are lots of other reviews that say exactly what I would say. Instead, I would like to bring up my main complaint. There is no Chromecast support. I would love to cast the OWL to my TV but I cannot.
2 ★If you want to get tokens: get this app. If you just want to watch the matches: do it on YouTube. I don't know if it's just me, but the app sometimes has some weird glitches or something that it doesn't show anything on the main page and you sometimes can't access the matches you want to see. It also drains the better really quickly (at least on my phone), so if you just want it for the tokens I think it would be better to just buy them and not use electricity to charge your phone constantly.
3 ★The middle tab won't work, it just says something went wrong and the servers couldn't find me. My Internet is working great actually, and I tried restarting it but it didn't work. I hope this gets fixed soon because I really like the idea of having an app instead of opening my browser all the time.
