CLIMB Piedibus Smart e' un app mobile nata per supportare gli accompagnatori del Piedibus.Permette di compilare un appello automatico grazie a dispositivi di prossimità in possesso ai bambini partecipanti, permette di registrare i volontari presenti giornalmente, fornisce le indicazioni delle fermate ed eventualmente i contatti dei volontari e dei genitori.
L'app è nata nel 2016 all'interno del progetto di ricerca CLIMB di Smart Community Lab della Fondazione Bruno Kessler, inizialmente realizzato in collaborazione con il progetto "A piedi sicuri" dell'Ufficio di Politiche Giovanili del Comune di Trento. E' stata poi estesa ad altre città italiane e non.
Per usare Pedibus Smart non basta scaricare l’app, ci sono alcuni passi da fare prima. Un Comune, una scuola o un’associazione di genitori stabilisce un accordo di collaborazione con FBK, autorizzando FBK a personalizzare i componenti Pedibus Smart (app, dispositivi di prossimità e dashboard) per lo specifico pedibus di quella scuola o città.
L’App Pedibus Smart viene quindi attivata e assieme al referente del Pedibus si organizza un veloce modulo di istruzione dei volontari/accompagnatori all’uso dell’app e la distribuzione dei dispositivi.
Ogni giorno, utilizzando lo smartphone di un accompagnatore, il registro delle presenze viene creato automaticamente, confermato dai conducenti e condiviso in modo sicuro con i nostri server back-end. Quando concordato, una pagina web personalizzata fornisce monitoraggio e statistiche sull’andamento del Pedibus.
Il PedibusSmart può essere completato dal gioco KidsGoGreen, che incoraggia ulteriormente la mobilità sostenibile, sociale e divertente di tutti i bambini della scuola.
