Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Don't purchase the subscription directly from the provided app, especially if you used Google to log in. Problem is customer support can not help, if you purchased threw the app. Also you do not get access to the newspaper section as they have a issue by using Google to pay for your sub. Cancled and will find another news sorce.
1 ★Forced ads that require closing to read the paper(even with a subscription), back button closes the app, generally slow and unwieldy. What a tremendously horrid app.
2 ★App was pushed out too soon.
1 ★App is glitchy and hard to navigate
1 ★I miss paper runs
1 ★Won't let me cancel! I signed up for a Ledger subscription through this ap. Sometimes the ap remembers I have a subscription, sometimes not. But CANNOT log in to the website. So annoying! I have been trying to cancell all afternoon. But it wont let me. I tried calling, tried on line, tried the chat feature on the website. No luck. I'm going to have to object to the charge through my credit card company. Wish I had never signed up. I want local Polk news, but this is very limited, not worth the $
2 ★My hometown paper. But doesn't let you know all the news.
1 ★I really like the e edition which looks exactly like the newspaper but it keeps closing on me. I start reading an article of interest and the app just closes. Repeatedly I try over and over. I've tried closing the app, restarting the device. It will still do it it is extremely frustrating. On top of that I'm paying $12.99 a month for subscription and they advertise it on the app for $9.99
3 ★It works fairly well on Android. Story links jump out of the app to Chrome. Sometimes in Chrome I will get a message that I have read my limit of articles. This is true for articles that ran in the print edition. That's unfair.
5 ★So far its been wounderful .I hope that peopke will use this also .Thelma McCabe .
