Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★This app is embarrassing for C-T. It asks me to login every time I try to read a story. It worked on my old Droid 4 but doesn't on my Samsung Galaxy 4.
1 ★Pos. I have to log in every time I try to go to sections, and it never takes me to the section. Fire the idiot that designed this
3 ★This application is only viewable in portrait mode so you can forget about trying to flip your device and use all the real estate. The description above says that there's pictures and video but at least in the mobile view there is no video I've ever seen. Also there's no share function here. If I see something I want to share with somebody I would have to go to the website I guess, why make me go to the public website when I'm paying for a subscription? Lastly there's no way to socialize with other people by leaving a comment. I mean that's really the whole point here right, engaging one another in discussion over public events? Give us a way to talk with one another and learn others opinions rather than just giving us the news.
1 ★Dont have the ability to leave comments. Cant share articles.
2 ★Trying to find information about a recent news item, but there is not a search function.
1 ★Sucks so bad
1 ★And it is stupid
2 ★
3 ★Hyperlinks don't go anywhere; they're just blue highlighted text. It'd be nice to have a calendar that is easily accessible for local happenings.
1 ★Always force closes at random times. Videos wont play. HTC incredible
5 ★Good source of local news. This app has always been stable on my GS III. Embedded video feature in new version makes it even better.
4 ★I like it. Laggy but not bad
