Remeber, CRASHLIGHT® requires Location Services, GPS signal availability, and a Data Plan to work effectively.
Take note that ESR employs Location Services to deliver GPS tracking features; you must allow location permissions in the foreground and background for ESR to operate.

What's new in version 4.13.0
With this patch, we fixed a crash that when creating an new account and denying the Privacy Policy or Location Permissions. For existing riders, the crash was seen when changing Settings in Group Ride. We are sorry about that. 5 ★The app does an awesome job tracking your rides. It has an added feature called crash alert to aid in the event of an accident which is great if your in mobile network coverage but it will not work without connectivity like in the mountains, for that I use a satellite device. ALSO great customer service support...
4 ★The most annoying thing about the app is you can't look at your profile, saved rides or any other page without having GPS turned on. Wish I could just look at my saved routes. The app is great for the peace of mind of family and friends
3 ★I like the app. But I can only give it 3 stars, because it is inconsistent on tracking miles. I have had it be off as much as 20-30 miles. Also when you look at the saved trip, it does not track to the road, but instead has straight lines to a point and then turns. it should track to the road traveled.
1 ★Was excited for the app ... even paid for crash alert add-on.Terrible idea.FALSE ALRAMS multiple times during my first ride with app.Changed to lowest sensitivity setting and STILL false alarms while stopping at stop signs at low speed.Frustrating to stop my ride, dig out my phone, remove gloves to try to stop the false alert, which got stuck, and required to restart phone repeatedy.DONT USE!Especially crashlight.4th refund request just made and STILL NO REFUND!Looking for alternatives now.
4 ★First type of this app I've used. I don't really understand the lean angles. It's been uploading my profile photo for days (edit: I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and then it worked okay). It did save my ride and tracked it really well, including the elevation.
1 ★Used to work great, now I keep getting a lot of false crash alerts and the alarm sound keeps going and going. I'd used to love the crashlight feature but something changed and it totally sucks now.
2 ★doesn't track too well. I just had this app running while doing a ride. phone was in tank bag with clear visual to sky; however, when finished a large portion of my track was straight lines and not following the roads I was riding on, giving an inaccurate distance traveled
1 ★Had high hopes for the safety feature but there is nothing that will set it off. Beat the snot out of my phone to simulate crash... Nothing. The tracking is horrible unless you leave a ton of things on then your battery is done within an hour.
3 ★Crashlight is very touchy and unpredictable. Like the idea but have had multiple false readings. The lean angle feature never seems to work as well. It always registers 0 degrees even when I know I have learned the bike atleast 45 degrees. Please advise.
3 ★It's a decent tracker app, but it's navigation features are kinda sparse. Also I'm worried about crash light going off if I go over a bump and telling my mom that I've died. It's a bit sensitive, even on it's lowest setting.
4 ★So far seems okay the crash detection is awesome. However immediate critique PLEASE add a community rating system for routes my local area is just flooded with spam routes of like people's work commutes and one was just a woman marking where a truck cut her off. Only a handful are actually proper riding routes.
5 ★The app is great It logs the trip parameters that you can show off with, it allows you to create groups and add friends that you can later find on the map, but the best feature is that you can export your trips as GPX files, which you can then import în gMaps Awesome app
