A quick, easy to use and lightweight location-based public transportation information application. An intuitive interface returns a listing of stops with their routes and next stop time, closest to your location.The schedules are always current and since updates to the schedules are done server-side no updates to the app are needed in order to receive the most up-to-date transit information.

Download Transit! APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.eleventhree.transit.goog-v3.10.0-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

3 ★There are two bus stops across the street from each other where I live, one for eastbound and one for westbound. Unfortunatel, the app only reads for the eastbound bus. I havent tried it yet at other similarly placed stops. For a transit hub it worked fine. If this problem is resolved, it gets 5 stars.
5 ★A fundamental feature I was looking for was a GPS independent app. So many transit apps force you to enable GPS to work, which is ultimately inefficient if you take the bus a lot (calling, or searching online is more convenient). I absolutely love how I can favorite all the routes I take daily, and then everytime I start the app it opens with the respective bus times for my favorites automatically. With GPS off, the app starts up and fetches data in seconds, even faster then apps using offline maps!
1 ★Or really care at all, except for my BURNING CURIOSITY™ WHERE ARE THE BUSES ??? WHAT CITIES ??? WHAT STREETS ??? Is there a secret list? How do I get a copy? What about *dogs* & *bikes* & ***wheelchairs*** ??? But seriously, get with the City List as an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM. Including Baltimore would be a nice touch. Inspired even. We have crabcakes.

4 ★Ad version has them placed nicely. Update system drives me nuts but partly of my own doing. Please keep a version that works on my older version of android. In sunlight the contrast between font and background is excellent. The lastest version is better on the GPS than before but may have been a hardware issue here.
2 ★This app doesn't give option of planning your trip. The same which have got in windows i.e. here transit app. I wish we could get such app. I tried searching a lot for the app same like "here transit". Bt unfortunately android doesnt have one.

3 ★I guess that is what "lightweight" means. There is still the possibility of not having to select an agency, but utilizing all local agencies.

1 ★EDITED 5-22-3015. WHERES THE INFO BUTTON YOU TALK ABOUT????? So far all this does is tell me the times the bus is running. What about planning a trip? Google maps doesn't add a specific route which I need. So I was told by a Brampton transit driver to DL this app and use. Ok? What for? Lol. There's no support of android. And if there is, they aren't responding. Also there are no instructions even online on how to use this bloody app. Someone wanna explain what I'm missing?
5 ★I've been using this app for over a year. My transit authority changes route every three months. This app is always correct and includes alerts daily about route alerts. I trust this app and developer
