عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِىِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً فَقَرَأَ فَكَانَ إِذَا مَرَّ بِآيَةِ عَذَابٍ وَقَفَ وَتَعَوَّذَ وَإِذَا مَرَّ بِآيَةِ رَحْمَةٍ وَقَفَ فَدَعَا وَكَانَ يَقُولُ فِى رُكُوعِهِ: سُبْحَانَ رَبِّىَ الْعَظِيمِ. وَفِى سُجُودِهِ: سُبْحَانَ رَبِّىَ الأَعْلَى
Artinya : “Diriwayatkan dari sahabat Hudzaifah ra. bahwa dia melakukan shalat malam di samping Rasulullah SAW. beliau membaca surat ketika sampai pada ayat yang menerangkan adzab, beliau berhenti dan meminta perlindungan dan ketika sampai pada ayat yang menerangkan rahmat beliau berhenti dan berdo’a meminta rahmat, ketika ruku’ beliau membaca Subhana Rabbiyal Adzimi, dan ketika sujud beliau membaca Subhana Rabbiyal A’la”.
