The Land Rover InControl™ Remote Smartphone App allows you to remain in touch with your Land Rover, making life easier when it really counts. Use the app to remotely:• Prepare for a trip by checking the fuel level, range and dashboard alerts
• Locate your vehicle on a map and get walking directions back to it
• Check if you left any windows or doors open
• Download your journey information to assist in claiming business expenses
• In the event of a breakdown, request Optimised Land Rover Assistance
For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium the following additional features are available:
• Check on your vehicle security status and lock/unlock your vehicle if required
• Cool or heat your vehicle to the desired temperature prior to your journey.(Availability
and function depending on vehicle capability)
• Reset your vehicle’s alarm if it has accidentally triggered
• Locate your vehicle in a crowded car park with the ‘beep and flash’ functionality
Download the App and log in using your Land Rover InControl™ username and password. This App requires one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle:
• InControl Protect
• InControl Remote
• InControl Remote Premium

Remote App will now be supported on Android OS version 5.x or later to meet higher security requirements of our backend systems. This release and future updates will not be available on older versions of Android.

4 ★Recently installed app and connected vehicle with the help of the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. Not all the features work particularly well ie the remote start says the fuel level is too low while on the vehicle status it's showing 80% full. Never mind, you can't own the world's best 4x4xfar and still expect the electronics to work. If you're still complaining, buy a Toyota.
1 ★What's doing on developers? Went can't I log in anymore?
1 ★Horrible app! You spend that much on a Range Rover and this is the best they can come up with!!??? Can't even create an account without getting the read the privacy policy which I did and still nothing! What a joke! Get it together Land Rover!!!
4 ★I know some have had issues with this app, but I've been using it for the last week on a Samsung Galaxy S8 and haven't had any real problems with remote start. I've tested it on both wifi and T-Mobile service and it's consistently started my vehicle. If I receive the "Your vehicle is in a poor coverage area" error message, I just try again and it more often then not, starts on the 2nd try. Considering I live in rural Maine with far fewer cell towers than more metropolitan cities, I'm very happy.
1 ★I have been using the REMOTE app for over a month. Since I last used it I have been logged out. I tried to log back in and its telling me my email or password is wrong. I looked it up and it was entered correctly. I tried again. Fail. Clicked on Forgot Password, entered email to send password reset to. It says I dont have an account and need to create one. Its just taking me in circles.
1 ★Was so excited to use this app. Don't even bother. Worthless! Never got past the create account screen. Disappointing considering how much the vehicle cost. No remote start, no roadside assistance, no emergency assistance. Why are the buttons even in the vehicle? Stop using this worthless app as a selling point. Do Better.
1 ★Absolutely garbage! Just bought RR sport brand new 2 months ago, had three warranties issues already with touchless system, plus this app is absolutely garbage. Can't even sign up, keeps saying read terms and conditions, well that describes the quality of them. You spend 130 grand on a vehicle like this and they can't even keep up with technology. What a shame! May be learn something from Toyota how their systems work??? Had 4 Toyota cars in 10 years and absolutely no issues whatsoever.
1 ★This app needs updated and the problems with it addressed. We pay to much for these vehicles to not have full functionality with all aspects of the features. I can only start my car half the time and it always says last updated date that is months in the future.
1 ★This app is horrible, everytime I try to login I says "It couldn't find my account matching my email " I had this app for the past 4 years. When I try to reset my password it doesn't recognize my email address.
3 ★Been using for just over a week with 2019 Range Rover Sport and, contrary to other people's reviews, it works absolutely fine! It links with the car, and it DOES close the windows, locks or unlocks the doors, and sets the alarm. Only thing bad is the basic maths are often wrong - journey time, distance traveled and average speed aren't compatible!!!
2 ★I am frequently logged out of this app though I have selected the remember me option. The remote start option rarely connects to the car on the first try if at all. The maps are also not updated often.
2 ★Not acceptable for a luxury vehicle Remote start works randomly I try at the same location sometime it works with the 1st try and other time I have to try 15 times. I have never had this kind of issue with Mercedes.
