A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Just installed 3 discs & created a new premium whole house WI-FI network. The installation was easy enough but had some tricky moments where I had to restart my phone as the app could not find discs but they were connected to the Internet (blue light). I have a large 3 storey house & 3 discs sufficient. I have one disc spare to install in my new garden studio once I run a CAT5 into it. I no longer have dead spots in my house & devices connect seamlessly from one discs to another.
2 ★System is a nightmare to set up. Instructions and guides ambiguous and process is opaque. Extra hubs refused to wps setup in the app but we're on the network after I gave up trying to use the app. An extra unit was added. To change name asks for admin password off back. Eventually worked out that it really needed admin password from the first unit.
3 ★The whole home minis need a firmware upgrade (promised two years ago on the bt forum). Network monitoring is impossible as they ping Microsoft every few seconds. Other than that they're actually pretty good, and so is the app. Though it did mess up a few times when setting up additional units.
1 ★Terrible. Works out of the box ok but good luck if you try and change anything! Especially fun when you try moving a disc with the app and unplug as requested and it then says it is still plugged in...stick in a forever loop. Bit off when I was holding the plug. Full reset and start again from the beginning. Dull.
1 ★It keeps (several times a day) losing the Internet connect despite the hub itself being connected to the Internet 6 may still losing Internet and support failed to fix after all this time
2 ★Disappointing. Signal strength quite poor. Originally installed 2 of 3 discs, when installing 3rd disc it kept giving setup 42 error but it turned out that the setup had completed successfully, so wasted several repeat installs. Signal still poor (and variable) with 3 discs.
5 ★Excellent bit of kit. Very easy to set up. Seamless connections throughout the house. No more swapping from router to extender etc depending where you are in the house. Highly recommend.
3 ★Wifi works OK, except for connections to Sky Q, which seems to struggle to connect if left in standby for a long time. App is flaky on Android, keeps saying there is a problem, but seems to work fine on Apple.
1 ★I agree with all the poor reviews. Although it is quite straightforward to set up, there are frequently problems. Sometimes the app says there is no signal and won't connect, even though we are using the internet from the Whole Home. Other times, the internet doesn't work, even though the router works. If we pause the internet, none of the devices reconnect properly. I've had to reinstall the app 6 times today and reset the system 3 times to get the internet working. Avoid the Whole Home WiFi!
1 ★Spends most of its life telling you that you aren't connected to your whole home WiFi even though you are connected and everything except the app is working fine So it's pretty much useless most of the time
1 ★I've been using the Whole Home discs and app for a week now, and I'm disappointed. The app is shockingly bad. It doesn't always connect despite my device having a wifi connection. When it does, it says discs are not connected, but the blue light on the disc says it is. For unknown reasons the discs just stop and reboot themselves, which is really annoying. When they work it's great. True coverage over the whole house from 3 discs...it just doesn't appear to be reliable.
1 ★The app is fine, the performance of the discs are rubbish. If they need to be right beside each other to get any signal they aren't much use.
