PERMISSIONS DETAILS

1 ★Latest update automatically enabled "Contributing to coverage maps" location tracking. It's a tiny notification you can't interact with or kill. I searched everywhere to figure out what app was doing this all of a sudden without my interaction. Only Samsung's Device Care told me it was nPerf, telling me it was draining my battery heavily. Uninstalled and back to normal. Happened on another phone too. Unacceptable. They should prompt users first before doing this. Deceptive and Sneaky.
5 ★Good, love the coverage maps and the active mapping. Speed testing is awesome. Only two issues, no metric for packet loss and when actively mapping coverage stops when you loose cell signal for more then 1-3 min. I wish my provider saw these maps to make there coverage better. App needs a dark mode.
5 ★Been using the app for about 3 weeks now and enjoy it. Pretty cool to see the service in different areas and I like the Active mapping. I like to see how good of a signal I can get. Lol. Hope it also helps Carriers to upgrade their networks. 1 ★For the last couple days it's been asking me to rate the app for it to remove ads for free. I rated it 5 stars because I genuinely do like it. However, the ads were never removed, and the popup telling me to rate the app to remove the ads is incessant. I now see it everytime I use the app. I will return this rating to 5 stars if the developer fixes this problem.
1 ★One of my friend recommended to use this app but it's a trash for Android OS... app does not work.. stuck on the first screen while connecting to server and throw connection error.. after few attempts i was able to jump into the main screen but tests still failing.. (used both manual/auto servers).... Tried the iOS version and it worked without issues and was surprised by this awesome test that it's getting executed!! Want to give u 5* but will be only one for now,, Fix your app !!
2 ★Update 10/9/2023: Still not detecting the correct network. I have a rainbow Dish sim and only use Dish Wireless and it is saying that I am using AT&T on Boost Mobile(infinite) Original review: Doesn't detect provider or network correctly. My provider is DISH Network & my network is DISH Network (Project Genesis 5G ONLY no 4G). This keeps incorrectly showing Boost Mobile as the provider and the network being AT&T 4G LTE. The app overall feels difficult to use as well but has some neat features.

5 ★I have been using it to measure 5G performance for site survey and it s a great tool. One of the best speedtesting apps I have ever used, especially the full test feature is exactly what I was looking for.
