Lucrare realizată de Ministerul Justiției în parteneriat cu Centrul de Drept Constituțional și Instituții Politice (CDCIP) din cadrul Facultății de Drept a Universității București,"Scopul demersului nostru este de a pune la dispoziția specialiștilor, în primul rând a celor care lucrează la proiectul de revizuire a Constituției României, toate constituțiile din Uniunea Europeană, pentru a avea o bază relevantă de informare.
Din datele pe care le avem în prezent, acest proiect este unic la nivelul Uniunii Europene, fiind prima dată când un stat membru realizează un Codex care să cuprindă atât constituțiile traduse în limba naţională, cât și scurte prezentări ale acestora. Lucrarea a fost realizată de profesori universitari din cadrul Facultății de Drept a Universității București – Centrul de Drept Constituțional și Instituţii Politice (CDCIP), partenerii Ministerului Justiției în acest proiect, astfel încât să simplificăm cât mai mult accesul la informația esenţială."
