Description

DOT Tickets app is developed and owned by Din Offentlige Transport (DOT). DOT is a partnership between the traffic companies DSB, Movia and Metroselskabet to help create a better and more cohesive public transport system on Zealand, Lolland, Falster and Møn.
DOT Tickets app makes it easy to buy tickets and monthly passes for journeys on Zealand, Lolland, Falster and Møn.
You can purchase tickets by entering your place of departure and arrival, either in the form of a stop, address, or place. You can also pick the zones you wish to travel from and to on the map. The 2-8 zones fast purchase is relevant for you, if you know how many zones you need from where you are. You can use that feature, if you give the app your permission to localization (GPS) so that the app can determine your start zone. Giving your permission to localization, which is voluntary, can also help you determine your location on the map versus your ticket’s validity area.
Monthly passes can be purchased by entering your place of departure and arrival. You can also pick the zones manually on the map if you travel between 2 and 8 zones.
You can purchase these tickets in DOT Tickets app:
• Zone tickets for 2-8 zones
• Tickets for 9+ zones between a departure and arrival zone
• Commuter cards with Metro and DSB 1’ Regional Train as an optional add-on
• Commute20 with Metro and DSB 1’ Regional Train as an optional add-on
• Bicycle Metro
• Supplementary Ticket for Commuter Card (1 zone)
• DSB 1’ Regional Train supplementary ticket
• City Pass Small for zones 1-4 (24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours)
• City Pass Large for zones 1-99 (24, 48, 72, 96 or 120 hours)
• City Pass X-Large for zones 1-299 (24 hours)
• City Pass West for zones 101-199 (24 hours)
• City Pass South for zones 201-299 (24 hours)
• Event ticket Small for zones 1-4 (12 hours) and Event ticket Large for zones 1-99 (12 hours), available for limited periods in connection with events
• 12-hour ticket East, West and South for free traveling on Saturdays and Sundays for a limited period (December 2023 – February 2024)

These monthly passes can be purchased in other sales channels, but are displayed in DOT Tickets app:

• Youth Card
• Employee Travel Pass
• Company travel Pass

You can pay with MobilePay or payment cards in DOT Tickets app. You can save your payment card details and access them via Touch ID, Face ID or a PIN code of your choice. In that way, you do not have to enter all card details every time you make a purchase.

Departure boards

When you create a departure board, you can get notifications about planned changes and you can add the board as a widget on your smartphone’s home screen, so you always have it close at hand.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Horrible customer service. After changing phone and even registering my email address to restore my ticket, it is gone. I called customer service and followed the procedure to retrieve my ticket (sending in my ordering number) but still nothing. I haven't event received a response from customer service. Terrible data management and application.
1 ★Worst app bought monthly commuter card, amount debited bank account but commuter card dint show up. Second time purchased commuter card showed valid ticket for 30 days and monthly ticket disappeared again. This is the only source to buy monthly don't understand how dsb could launch this app without checking for bugs and crashes.
1 ★Worst ticket app. Unknown error, screen freeze is just normal. It make me driving without a ticket a lot of zones because I cannot buy a ticket! I tried so many things, reinstall also and nothing. When I select stations manually, I can go further ahead. What I am supposed to do?
1 ★The app showed an error message & no other change in the app after i tried to buy a ticket. i repeated the operation three times before i gave up. a few minutes later the app refreshed and all the tickets were there. i paid 96 kr to sit on a bus for 20 minutes because i forgot to top up my rejsekort.
1 ★Very bad. Crashes every time. You can not rely on this app during payments. After payment is done, it simply closes and stops reposning. It fails to load every time. Complelty unreliable. Just pay with cash or use paper pass for DSB. Worst app!
1 ★Worst app so far, it appears its made on purpose to work extremely slow, most probably for ticket checker to give fine while app conveniently refuse to load. I don't think app has been developed by amatures, just something on purpose. They need to pay more to drivers which they can't.
1 ★Like others, I ended up double-spending because of some poorly implemented communication in DOT for the payment methods. Keeps saying "transaction has failed, try again" BUT IT TAKES YOUR MONEY. And MOBILE TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE - which you only find out in their ToS after failing to find any customer support for their mobile app. Well, DOT, I hope cashing in on nonrefundable error tickets pays for the losses you suffer from having your app reviewed into oblivion. Cheers!
1 ★Updated app doesn't work. I got a text message telling me to update the app today. Updated as told, and am now facing an error on startup. Nice. I'm using a commuter card for my daily transport so this is not optimal at all. Fix your app, DOT...
1 ★Horrible experience when it comes to adding 1 extra zone, ended up getting charged 3 times because there's no confirmation info, and the app updates just as quick as a turtle doing doing backflip . The app clearly priorities tourists instead of people who actually use it on daily basis. Get a real product designer not an intern.
1 ★Well well well. The new update seemed promosing, but as per usual lots of stuff is missing. For starters what about accessibility? Your app can't deal with screens where the OS has been adjusted with larger text and icons. I mean it's 2019, did you magically forget that accessibility exists? Shameful!
2 ★I like the new app but I do not like that I cannot but my Pendleton card in advance and specify the date. Last time I hit renew it did not allow me to choose the start date. As I use rejse card for longer trips I ended up paying 3 days in zone two double.
1 ★Loading takes 30+ seconds (!). It feels like eternity when the bus driver or the controller are waiting to see the card. Terrible. I wish I could give 0 stars. DSB app is way better.
