It uses your desktop PC computing power to handle PC VR games and stream it into your phone via WiFi. It simulates the devices like Oculus Rift etc.
VRidge is capable of displaying high quality PC graphics and perfect handling of head rotations.

Download VRidge APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.riftcat.vridge2-v2.7.11-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

2 ★I would have payed to get unlimited time, if it would actually work. Spent ages trying to get this to actually run, but it kept saying that it was connected, and waiting for SteamVR, even though I already had it open. It worked a little at first, but then Riftcat crashed and wouldn't work again. App really needs to be fixed.
5 ★Finally! with the latest update The stream quality and the tracking are almost like a "real" headset. I iam using it with an lgg6 and i can compare the quality with the HP WMR headset (which i also own) that has the same native resolution and with a good viewer the difference is minimal (under some aspects even better due fact that the wiever i use has very good lenses, better than the fresnel used in the WMR headsets...bye bye god rays!) . freedom from cumbersome wiring outweight the shortcomings of the streaming. too bad there is not a dedicated positional tracking and controllers. but again THIs software is awesome. Also the gamewarp feature is really cool.
2 ★Maybe, maybe if you like to fiddle with it for days it will do what you want for maybe another ehm, 5 minutes for the free version. It might not even be VRidge but I can't get past the SteamVR home room because there is no way to press the next button with an XBOX360 controller. I did find some solutions on fora but none worked so far. I 'm getting annoyed after a couple of hours so de-install and play with something else.
4 ★Very impressive. Works great with very little performance impact. The only problems are: 1. The latest update causes the brightness on my Redmi Note 5 Pro to go to its max. 2. The 'X' and settings icons on the top corners are incredibly noticeable in my peripheral vision. Any chance to have them removed/greyed out or have them just appear on the home screen?
3 ★Not a great experience. WiFi performance was bad with low frame rate and encoding problems, so use USB mode if you can find a long enough cable. The app on the phone is free, but the software on the PC needs to be unlocked for longer than 10 minute sessions. You need an xbox control pad for most games while in VR to get them to work. Overall a poor mans version of VR, even more so than just running massive mobile VR apps on your phone. Fun to try out though, just don't expect a PC experience.
3 ★The app works well although it crashes quite often on my S20+ which forces you to re-enable the plogin through steam to get it to show up again, this means you have to constantly take off your headset to interact with your PC. -1 star Currently there is no way to buy the full app through the appstore, probably to not have to pay Google their cut. This makes the developers more money but completely hampers the users experience, which feels a bit greedy IMO. -1 star
5 ★I have had a great time with this app so far. I've started playing subnautica, and the ocean is a whole new level of terrifying when I see the creatures around me. I feel very immersed. Would 100% recommend if you don't want to shell out a bunch of money for a full headset and you have a phone with a decent screen. I wish I could buy it from the play store, that is my only qualm.
5 ★Works better than I expected, and is a great deal for $20. I didn't get motion sick and the video glitching was minimal. It gives a good immersive sense of 3d even if the resolution isn't super high (but is good enough for me). My setup is an old PC with an AMD rx570, Galaxy S8 phone, Gear vr phone holder. I had some trouble where I had to exit everythng (Vridge on phone and PC, and SteamVR) to get it running, but once working it kept running fine.
3 ★Currently using it on my Gear VR, sadly there are alot of artefacts and lag coming from my phone. I use wireless as there is no port to use the tether. (Well, there is the charging port but I have not found a way to use the tether). However, lag can be fixed by moving the router closer to you, in this scenario, the router is downstairs whilst my PC is upstairs so. Overall, it can be pretty good, lag can be fixed, sorta.
5 ★Excellent application with easy setup and a plenty of options! Many devices supported, both WiFi connection and USB tethering are ok on whyred, though sometimes image distorts. Many control options, even has an app for emulating 6DoF controller via other phone :) Definitely one of the most advanced SteamVR software on the market.
5 ★With this program, your mileage may vary but for me, after some trial and error, this works wonderful as a cheap VR alternative. First, you Computer must be powerful enough to support VR. This means a fast quad core processor of the i5-i7 generation or equivalent AMD and a powerful dedicated graphics card (your $50 budget special isn't gonna run well here). As an example, i run a i7 2nd gen at 4.0Ghz and AMD Radeon 7970 1Gz Edition. VR uses ~60-80% of the video card's power. After that, it is all about finding what settings work best for you and your hardware. A lot say USB connection, and while that did give me good results, there were still some blocking and latency issues with my Galaxy S9+ (which with the 1440 resolution makes the VR look really good here) but my best VR results came from using 5G Wireless with the wireless signaling device (Router/access point/etc) in the same room as my VR setup. Localized 5G signal makes the VR run smooth as silk. Now if i can just figure out good VR controls for Subnautica, I can give that a go once i can pull myself away form Elite Dangerous VR :D
3 ★Works ok, but it displays horizontally squeezed image on my S7. Is there a way to change this manually? Update: Jul 4, 2019. 4 stars for impressive response from developer. Update Dec 26, 2019. Purchased game warp version, Down to 3 stars as Steam VR worked for minutes, then crashed intermitently. Haven't succeeded in having game warp to work. It's holidays, so I don't expect immediate support now.
