Die cm city media GmbH betreibt im Auftrag der Großen Kreisstadt Ditzingen den „LiveGuide Ditzingen“.Der „LiveGuide Ditzingen“ ist eine Augmented Reality-Anwendung. Augmented Reality („Erweiterte Realität“, kurz: AR) ist das Hinzufügen von zusätzlichen virtuellen Informationen in das eigentliche Sichtfeld eines Benutzers über mobile Endgeräte. Nutzer öffnen die App und betrachten über die Kamerafunktion ihres mobilen Endgerätes (Smartphone, Tablet-PCs etc.) den Ort und die Objekte. Auf den Objekten sind Buttons eingeblendet, über die weitere Informationen abgerufen werden können. Zusätzlich wird der Weg zum Objekt angezeigt.
Mit dem „LiveGuide Ditzingen“ können Sie sich virtuell durch Ditzingen bewegen. Sie öffnen die App und rufen über die Kamerafunktion Informationen zu Gebäuden, Unternehmen, Einrichtungen etc. ab.
Im Rahmen des Crossmedia-Konzepts werden die Daten aus dem Crossmedia Content Management System (CCMS) synchronisiert und zusammengeführt werden. Die Daten stehen damit ohne zusätzlichen Pflegeaufwand auf verschiedenen Plattformen (Web, Mobile, Apps) zur Verfügung.
