1 ★Downloaded and then removed due to paywall. Didn't get far enough to really give a star grade. No point, in the app when the content is available free on the Web site and many other like for like sites. Argument investment? How is that so when the website is free. I would imagine most people like myself only use good food for one offs perhaps a couple of times a month and not frequently enough to warrant paying when everything is free elsewhere.
1 ★Great recipes, but refuses to acknowledge the monthly payments I'm making to access them so I can't get it. Won't let me click 'restore purchase' and I just get the spinning wheel. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Nothing.
4 ★A great app overall. It is, largely, easy to navigate and the layout is pleasing to the eye. The screen lock is useful for when cooking/baking. The only real issue I have with this app is that only certain recipes seem to come up when you type in phrases like 'baking', 'cake', 'savoury baking' etc. There are actually more recipes on there that fall into those categories but only some of them come up when you search. To encounter the rest you have to be lucky or search certain ingredients etc
5 ★Now using the app often. Dont know if its me or if the app is now more user friendly. Great recipes and menu suggestions. Prev: Not sure if I have started 3 month free trial. I would like to cancel it as I dont understand the app
1 ★So got a free 3 month trial through O2 but £4.49 has been taken from my account but even with the free trial it's saying I'm not subscribed to it as can't see the recipes I have searched for even though I'm supposed to be subscribed I am not happy at all and I can't find how I contact anyone to get a refund on something I shouldn't have paid for yet 😡
1 ★Cannot log in. Link in password reset email does not work. Useless. Eventually remembered password, but recipes that are free on the website can't be viewed in the app without paying subscription. What's that about?
1 ★Won't recognise my magazine subscription so can't access the monthly recipes I've paid for which is frustrating. Contacted customer service and followed their instructions and it still won't work.
2 ★Won't allow me to sign in yet I was charged. I tried to reset my password but it's not allowing me to click it. Very strange.
1 ★Use the website! I got the app thinking I will use it to save recipes more easily, however all the recipes you can find easily on the website are free and in order to see the same ones on the app they want you to pay for it? You can't view the the recipe or the ingredients on the app, ridiculous
1 ★You will not get any recipes unless you pay. A total waste of time downloading and setting up. To top it off you have to pay BBC £13.00 a month whether you watch their shows or not - now they want to charge you an additional £5 pm for their recipes!
1 ★Bought, money taken, can't open. I paid and the amount was immediately deducted from my credit card. Then a message comes up that I can't access the content. Not happy. I want a refund!
1 ★A waste of time. I downloaded the app expecting a similar experience to the website. OK there's a few "exclusive" recipes, fair enough, I can understand they require a subscription. You'd think you'd be able to view the basic ones for free, not so, you can click on them but the actual recipes are still hidden and require a subscription. The same recipes are available on the website for free, absolutely bonkers.
