Beide Landschaften bieten zahlreichen Pflanzen und Tiere, darunter auch viele seltene und gefährdete Arten, einen wertvollen Lebensraum.Mit dem Naturschutzgroßprojekt Senne und Teutoburger Wald – kurz NGP – wird dieses kostbare Naturerbe unter der Trägerschaft des Naturparks Teutoburger Wald/Eggegebirge auf ca.1.800 ha Fläche gesichert, entwickelt und für die Bevölkerung behutsam erlebbar gemacht.
Die kostenlose App für das Naturschutzgroßprojekt ist ihr persönlicher Begleiter auf den abwechslungsreichen Erlebniswegen in der vielfältige Landschaft in Senne und Teutoburger Wald. Neben der GPS-gestützten Führung auf den Wanderwegen stellt die App an Points of Interest ergänzende multimediale Informationen, wie beispielsweise beeindruckende Filmaufnahmen, für Besucher bereit.
