Die Route „Heil- und Gewürzpflanzen“ ist Teil der GPS-Erlebnisregion Teutoburger Wald / Eggegebirge, die bereits drei mal von der UNESCO als offizielles Projekt der UN-Dekade „Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung“ ausgezeichnet wurde.
