1 ★The app has got worse and worse week after week. Repetitive ads and it gets stuck in loops where it will play ads for 15 minutes straight and not the live stream. Really awful since Urban 1 took over 980. I don't know if they're responsible for this app or not but when they took over the station is when I noticed a severe decline in the performance of the app. I'd rather listen to static-laden AM that is out range than the same ad 450 times.
2 ★Recent update made an already clunky app worse. I rely on this app since I'm outside reliable radio signal, and not in my car for most of the shows I like. Issues that need fixing: - video ads offer skip button, but skipping doesn't count as watching ad - live stream always plays after I watch first ad, even when I tried to play from audio vault (auto play off) - switching from live stream to audio vault requires another ad, even though I never wanted to hear live stream in the first place
1 ★This problem was fixed, but this week 4/15/2020,online ads are again appearing during recorded broadcasts and never stop. Requires I restart the recording to qgin listen. Truly sucks! he best thing about this app is that "sometimes" you can listen to the WTEM broadcasts. Everything else is really poor. Can't get the shows to play because of the ads when you first open the app. Sound quality is inconsistent.
1 ★Won't play audio through my cars Bluetooth for whatever reason (plenty of other apps do). Have to listen to the post recordings and the files seem chopped up with the audio skipping ahead a second or two which makes me miss out on parts of sentences. For some reason while I'm listening the audio just cuts out I open my phone and try to hit play again and the app does not respond so I have to restart the app. Also, at one point I tried pausing the player to talk to someone and it wouldn't stop.

1 ★I won't repeat the details that are throughout the other reviews, as you will quickly get the point. But I will confirm that the app is incredibly frustrating to attempt to use and, ultimately, you will give up. It really is unfortunate, as many of the programs on The Team 980 are quite good, especially Al Galdi at 6 am. But this app is only harming the station.

I love the Team 980 shows. so i still use this app. but this app is riddled with bugs and glitches. it won't let turn off notifications. everytime I open the app it brings up some random video segment from ITLR. and the ads, oh my GOSH! When you open the app, ad. when you pause a show and press play, ad. sometimes it just goes to an ad mid show. and these are not the radio ads, they are app ads. this app is embarrassing really for all involved.

1 ★The app would be great if ads don't stop you from listening to live broadcast. Every time I try it never plays, I am OK for 20 to 30 sec. Ad first. So I just stop listening to this app and started listening to the podcast of the hosts.
1 ★Would grade less than 1 if I could. 1/2 a star! Not user friendly. Weird commercials. Frequently and randomly stops playing and requires restart. Now this app doesn't work offline. Thus, I can't listen to may favorite shows after I've downloaded them. Surely there's some intern they could get from a local University to develop a better app! Can't listen to downliaded shows on an airplane.
4 ★Playback stops randomly and often. One can't simply press play to continue audio, you have to restart the app to continue to listen. Update: 10/23/19 Thanks to the app developer's prompt and effective update, the stated issues I mentioned above were resolved. The app is working like a charm. Great job team 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
1 ★I have removed and then reinstalled this app numerous times and despite the developers claim that "we have fixed the issue - please reinstall the app," as other users have complained this app is not only ad driven but virtually impossible to navigate. Good luck listening to anything other than untimely ads and your own angry words muttered to yourself
