Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Does what I need on my rooted phone.
2 ★Using ADB is mandatory. Big negative. Should be able to be done withemulator & SU.
5 ★Great app! Love the new NFC switch. Now can enable NFC only when I launchGoogle Pay.
3 ★Not able to disable keyguard
3 ★Sounds like a good app as Secure Settings no longer can Kill Apps. Went through the process of allowing device admin role on rooted device. When invoked it came up with Admin Error. It seems even to simply kill an app it needs Device Admin as well. So granted that to. And after all that it didnt even kill the app when Tasker told it too.. disappointing. No error no nothing. Running on LoS 14.1.
5 ★Marco storneli apps are probable the best tasker plug ins there is. Very recommended.
5 ★Wow. Can't believe that this is working so well. An almost full replacement for secure settings and than even for free. Would even like to pay the developer. May simply buy a different application from him just to support. Only two settings do not work well on my Xperia. Mobile data can be turned off, but when turning on only the icon changes its status but mobile data is still not working. For airplane mode only the icon changes status for both directions but never really activated nor deactivated. Also missing to turn on /off NFC.
4 ★With secure settings defunct I'm glad this exists, needs a manual though. Or a more user friendly way to change secure settings, just changing settings doesn't seem to work and/or needs more actions to work (which tasker can't do since it can't run as privileged as securetask can). Ideally tasker should be a native part of android, with any and all options exposed to the user. Bah.
5 ★Fantastic app! Had almost given up on trying to remove pass/pin in tasker on nougat, but finally managed it with this app.
5 ★Useful plugin for tasker and does not require root to use.
5 ★Totally awesome plugin :)
5 ★Login Attempt Failed works a lot better now than with secure settings. In Tasker I have a variable set and each attempt increases that variable for various actions/warnings. If unlocked correctly then variable is reset for next lock.
