A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Works perfectly. As bonus, there was updated version few hours after reporting bug.
4 ★Works well. the setup could do more to tell you where you went wrong with invalid configurations, and access beyond just Gmail would make it 5*
2 ★The configuration is horrible. It says you don't have to input a name and then gives you an error that you didn't specify host and name for some reason.it doesn't even say that you can only send 4 characters. Why would anyone want that? Just say it's a pro feature.
4 ★So far so good. The old Locale plugin fails sporadically on new tablet. This one seems reliable.. Update after a couple of hours of testing. Also fails sporadically (and silently!) Using default GMail option. SMTP would not work at all. Tasker mail plugins seem to have terrible trouble with Android 7. Seems crazy as SMTP works fine on every other device I own (and has for decades). This includes an ancient Android phone running the old Locale plugin. Update again. Set it up to send an email every fifteen minutes overnight. Failed every time. Opening the app seems to "wake" it temporarily. Will see if support can figure it out, otherwise this is a one star fail (and I bought the "Pro" version) Edit again: Support reached out with the hint to exclude the app from battery optimization. Haven't tested yet, but that seems right as other plugins have had similar issues until excluded from that list. Seems Android 7 is very aggressive about saving battery power. Expect it will work reliably now...
5 ★This is a fantastic app - the ability to use Gmail search operators within the plugin's configuration, along with the arrays it provides, make it extremely flexible & easy to use. Thank you Marco!
3 ★I have sent an email to the developer, showing a bug. If you try to send multiple messages with different attachments within the same task, the file attached to the first message will also be attached to subsequent messages, rather than the specified file.
3 ★Not sure why it need contacts permission to send an email. Just want to send an email to an address I typed in. Contacts are not required to do that. When I try to send an email, it fails saying it needs permissions granted (not gmail permissions). I temporarily granted permissions to Contacts only (changed nothing else) then it sent the email out.
5 ★Awesome app. Developer provides quick replies to doubts. No other plugin available for checking gmail inbox other than this. Lite and efficient.
2 ★Does not work with hosted Gmail accounts.
5 ★Got it working finally. The configuration name in the tasker plugin confused me. Thought I had to give a name to the config there, didn't realise it was looking for the config name. I guess an error message would have helped... Anyway now it works great. Thank your for the quick response. .... And thanks for the quick update to the app. It helps.
