5 ★I haven't really explored all this app has to offer, nor have I downloaded any of the other automate apps such as automate permissions, for example. I did however manage to set up a flow loop that makes use of the send sms block to make sure I never miss a dead line which was pretty sweet. That said, just looking at the list of blocks and categories tells me this app alone can basically do anything. I wonder whats left for the premium version offer; no description is offered in the menu.
5 ★A fantastic and super powerful app that does almost everything needed. Requires a bit of a programmer mentality as expected. Would be great if there was a way to have a flow change its own icon for a widget based on logic in that flow so we could create a Toggle button, say for something like an intelligent WIFI-ON/Off Toggle widget as an example.
5 ★Automate is a good way to automate tasks with various features. It takes just about every feature that third-party apps can access and breaks them up into blocks that the user can arrange, configure, and connect in a flowchart format. Flows that you build in Automate can even replace other apps, giving you more control over your data. The learning curve behind Automate depends on what you intend to do with it.
3 ★It's okay. I could do the same thing that this does, using the language that this is written in, and it would be easier to write. Just saying that because I like traditional coding, and this UI confuses me, I mean it's a great UI but the menu and the way things are layed out is kinda weird to me. Also when you create something through Java or any other language, you can make give the app it's own thumb nail, would be cool to see this app let you add shortcut icons to apps you make in it
5 ★Great tool for automating just about anything! From automatically muting ads to clocking in to work, I'm slowly working through automating everything I can so I can think less about the menial tasks and focus on meaningful activities. The documentation and looking at examples are great for learning how to get the most out of this app!
4 ★Pretty useful, I can automatically organize my photos now something I wanted to do for years, thank you. But the docs were really dry.. organize, simple, consistent and dry needs more context to learn syntax better. Also is there any home button detection setup to make it happen, want to make combos to lock phone and use flashlight.
4 ★This is the only automator I have found with a clear, navigable, concise interface that works for me, and that has all the power tools I need. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 is because there's no subscription payment option, which is something that would make me feel more secure in the app's ongoing updates and support.
3 ★Very well done. Nice guidance of the user and good implementation, e.g. will only ask for permissions if needed or warns about potentially dangerous features. Unfortunately, using geolocation is tricky (Android 10). Even after following all suggestions/help (e.g. disabling battery saving features) I'm not able to get it to work reliably.
4 ★Hi, nice work. Can you add a floating button icon, normal and small size, on the phone home screen that also simulates a touch interaction, specifically a hold or toggle touch on and off when and where you press the button, and make sure several of the buttons work together very strongly as well as your fingers on the screen without interrupting each other because sometimes your fingers cancel the button action when you touch the screen.
5 ★Was looking for a simple app to set up on my wife's phone to send me a predefined text message when she pressed a widget button or other icon (she's recovering from surgery so wanted an easy way for her to call me over for help). Found this gem of an app and was able to set up a Flow within minutes to do that, but expect I'll be playing with this for some time exploring the myriad of other automation tasks I can easily set up on my phone! Very impressed this is a free app.
4 ★I use it to automate my wireguard VPN tunnel and it works well and very happy with that. The community automations are limited in usefulness for me, difficult to browse. The documentation could be much improved. I paid for the app even though free seemed to work fine for me as is. I'd like to see the developer continue to refine the app! Great work making something I use everyday.
5 ★I literally can not live without this anymore. I got the premium version (I never , NEVER, pay for apps) and i have not regretted it. It doesn't run up my battery, and if it thinks that it may it will let you know. It has a ton of useful tools that I have now come to rely upon daily. Everything from being able to text my phone for a location, setup specific users to bypass the ringer mute, auto rotate stubborn apps, ect. And all from 1 app. It is well worth the buy. I love this app.
