Neun Museen in fünf Landkreisen rund um München haben sich unter der Marke „Landpartie“ zusammengeschlossen und präsentieren im Jahr 2015 Sonderausstellungen rund um das große und umfangreiche Thema Wasser. Die thematische Bandbreite der Ausstellungen ist groß: Sie reicht von der Auseinandersetzung von zeitgenössischen Künstlern mit Wasserlandschaften über naturkundliche Präsentationen zu einzelnen Gewässern bis hin zu kultur-historischen Fragestellungen etwa zum Zusammenhang zwischen Wasserläufen und Siedlungsgeschichte.
