Dalil Adanya Shalat Sunnah
جَاءَ اَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ مَا ذَا فَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ؟ قَالَ: اَلصَّلَوَاتُ اْلخَمْسُ اِلاَّ اَنْ تَطَوَّعَ شَيْئًا. البخاري و مسلم
Telah datang seorang Arab gunung, lalu ia berkata, “Ya Rasulullah, shalat apa yang difardlukan oleh Allah atas saya ?”. Jawab Rasulullah SAW, “Shalat lima waktu, kecuali kalau engkau mau shalat sunnah”. [HSR. Bukhari dan Muslim]
