A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★The app doesn't do justice to the product. Cams are great on the monitor/TV but the app is horrible. The streaming quality and app interface are very poor. Keeps giving a network disconnected error message. Lorex please look into the software side of things to support the excellent quality hardware you already have. I really hope with firmware/app updates you guys can fix this. Would love to use the same app as the NetHD NVR. Using the same app with a Hikvision DVR and it works perfect.
1 ★App constantly disconnects from server if you change from portrait to landscape or try to use playback. Now I can't even change video channels with newest Android update. As far as setup, you can't even see what you type so you have to be lucky there aren't any typos... Too bad because the system itself is great
3 ★I set it all up and got it to work on my LAN no problems using the Lorex HD Client that came with the system when i bought it. Installed Lorex Mobile HD on my verizon Samsung S3 cell and it work for a while and then it stopped working. i notice that it works on my cell using Mobile HD app when i turn off the Wi-Fi and force it to use the 4G Verizon Wireless Network then it works GREAT. Seems like its confused when a cell is on the Wifi and the 4g networks.
1 ★Statement from Lorex below. They will not be updating this app and suggest the only resolution is to purchase a new DVR. "Educated customer that application will not be updated. Configure DDNS with correct domain and try to replicate issue. If the problem persists, educate customer on unit being discontinued."
1 ★The text is white on a white background??? You can't read anything you input to set up a device. Lorex has a dozen apps and none of them work! This company is a joke.
1 ★This no longer works. Update your software. No customer service response after several email. After this huge investment it is worthless. Fix it!
1 ★It is unreal what a piece of crap this software is.
1 ★Does not work on note 5
2 ★Keeps crashing anymore
1 ★Doesn't say if the cameras have to be Hi-Def ...but it does not work on my Android S2...loads, put in the info...does not connect and locks up and will not let me close it right away...I guess if you have hi-def cameras then it will probably work
5 ★If the title of a camera viewer says it is HD then the cameras must be HD. Not fair to developer to give 1 star because you can't/wont read or don't have common sense to know you don't meet the prerequisites for using the app.
