The app also has a listing of important phone numbers.The app tells the stories behind the heritage structures in the town, including the Patrocinio de Maria Parish Church, which was designated a National Cultural Treasure in 2001.
Boljoon Guide is part of the nationwide Digital Tourism campaign of Philippine telecommunications leader Smart Communications, Inc. and Cebu-based new media startup InnoPub Media. The campaign was recognized with an Anvil Award of Merit during the 49th Anvil Awards in February 2014.
