Sebab waktu mati dia tidak dalam keadaan beriman tapi sudah murtad. Karena itu di zaman Khalifah Abu Bakar orang-orang murtad itu diperangi. Adapun orang-orang Munafiqin, mereka itu tidak termasuk sahabat, karena mereka itu tidak beriman, tapi pura-pura beriman. Dhohirnya beriman, tapi batinya tetap kafir.
