Description

Bark provides families with the tools they need to raise kids in the digital age. Our comprehensive service lets you monitor content, manage screen time, and filter websites so you can get peace of mind while your child is online.

CONTENT MONITORING

Bark monitors your child’s text messages, email, YouTube, and 30+ apps and social media platforms for issues like cyberbullying, suicidal ideation, adult content, sexual predators, profanity, threats of violence, and more. Parents receive alerts only when something potentially problematic occurs online. You won’t have full access to everything on your child’s phone — just the things you might need to know about.

SCREEN TIME MANAGEMENT

Families can set healthy time limits and create schedules for when their children’s devices can connect to the internet (through both cell service and Wi-Fi).

WEB FILTERING

Our web filter lets you select which websites your child can access on their devices. You can allow or block specific sites — or even whole categories like streaming services, online gaming, sexual content, and more.

BARK HOME

When you purchase Bark Home, a small device sold separately that connects to your Wi-Fi router, you can use our app to manage screen time and filter websites and apps on all of the Wi-Fi-connected devices in your home, from smart TVs and video game consoles to laptops and tablets. Bark Home requires an active Bark subscription.

PRICING

Bark, our comprehensive online safety solution, includes content monitoring, screen time management, and web filtering. Bark is $14/month — or $99 annually.

Bark Jr provides screen time management and web filtering for $5/month or $49 annually.

SETTING UP BARK

After you download the Bark app for parents and guardians, you’ll need to download the Bark for Kids app to your child’s device to enable monitoring, screen time management, and more. Visit www.bark.us/android to install it.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★I really like this option as a parent, my kids get a phone without all the extra distractions and they can keep in contact with only approved people. I really don't like the inaccuracies in the mapping, this is new, it no longer updates their location. Please do an update so I can accurately see my kids on the map.
1 ★As a kid I hated this app. Also try to let you're kid try to uninstall the app and for the parent to just put in the code to reinstall bark and the parental controls go away while the app is not on the device
1 ★Don't waste your money. I got this to monitor my sons iPhone from my Android, it all worked great until the day the free trial ended and my payment cleared. Hasn't worked since, all the troubleshooting does it leads me to a screen to email Bark. I did that, they recommend disconnecting and reconnecting his iPhone, did that. Still doesn't work. I want my money back!
1 ★Trash just trash. Let our children at least have some freedom
1 ★I'm a kid and I'm having a issue because I CANT TURN BATTERY SAVER OFF and it's disruptive to any games I play please let me turn it off... Also why tf do I need my mom's permission to turn off battery saver?
1 ★While I appreciate the protection this app offers, the user experience with Android is awful. Everytime there is an update, I have to completely delete and reinstall the app on my kids phone. I follow the update instructions to the letter and it still won't properly install the update. If I had another choice for text monitoring I would switch immediately.
1 ★Absolute trash service and it's a waste of money. It's ridiculous that you can't monitor your child on an apple device, and they don't tell you that before you download and sign up for a 7 day trial. $14 per month for absolutely nothing!! Parentaler is much better.
2 ★I like the concept, and it has notified me with concerns, but it is absolutely frustrating to use the app! Definitely not user-friendly. 5 months, and I still can not easily navigate it!
1 ★Not kid proof...
1 ★I got my daughter a phone and decided not to give her mother the password to the bark app and ultimately resulted in google account being hacked by my ex and cant gain access to it and bark or google dont have any customer service or trouble shooting
