1 ★The UX on this app is terrible. 1. If I post a job, why do I have to reconfirm the job details when choosing a sitter? It doesn’t make sense. 2. Every time I try to post a job or book a sitter, a new bug appears. The latest one: the app keeps complaining that my phone number isn’t set and won’t let me book a sitter—even though it’s there. You’re one of the most important sitter apps in the U.S. Please deliver an experience that shows that instead of this terrible app.
4 ★The app could improve a few aspects when it comes to communication between families and caregivers, but overall it serves the purpose and it's quite functional.
3 ★Good app to connect you to jobs. I do wish the notification pop ups were better but for the most part pretty good
5 ★It is easy to use, but you must apply to multiple jobs to land a job. Don't give up.
1 ★Forgot I had a membership, got charged for renewal a year later. Urbansitter won't refund. Paid $40 for something I don't use.

I'm able to make meaningful connections with parents and also feel safe about the transactional agreements made through the app. I also really appreciate the feedback and reviews on both sides, it absolutely helps with deciding who to work for. I'm a caregiver and a woman, so I have to be as safe as possible when going to assist people in their homes. Urban Sitter is very easy to use and is well worth the money paid for a background check.
1 ★The site they use 'checkr' refuses to let me update information and says it is not their problem go tell urbansitter to start a new background check. When I do that urbansitter says it is not our problem go update your information in checkr. Back and forth for a few days now and NOW, bc it has taken so long my background check is expired? FAQs on both sites were not accurate and each party denied to help me figure out what the technical difficulty was. Money gone.
