How to install Velociraptor - Speed Limits & Speedometer APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★Nice. I wish Google maps can implement this in app. Xiaomi users may encounter occasional problems (Velociraptor not showing up), but this is not app's fault. Make sure "Allow Velociraptor to launch automatically in map apps" option is turned on. Phones may turn off this option, and cause "problems".
3 ★Was great as it works with Android Auto (Nokia 6.1) but no longer working (since last week). Both bubbles only showing zero whilst driving but app is up to date. Please advise or fix as I was happy with it until this error. Great with Australian limits & for use in my older car that has a not so reliable analogue speedometer.
3 ★I've used Velociraptor over a year with my Samsung J5 and it always worked perfect. Now I've changed my my phone for a Xiaomi MiA2 (Android 9) the app won't work in Google maps. I've granted it all permissions but it doesn't show in Google maps. Not even when I start up Velociraptor first and Google maps after. Strange, because if I set it to auto-launch in (for example) Whatsapp or Spotify all works fine. Am I overlooking something?
3 ★Often doesn't show speed limit (rural is expected but major highway's & freeways no) and current speed stops & starts for no reason.
5 ★Brilliant! Have been looking for an app for ages that superimposes the car's actual speed and the speed limit over Google maps. This does the job perfectly. Runs in the bavkground, uses hardly any battery, and opens automatically as soon as I open Google maps. Perfect, thank you!
3 ★A pretty cool app, but it made gmaps so slow I could barely use it. When I uninstalled the app my gmaps went back to normal. I'd happily use this app again if they fixed the performance issues, because even though maps added some of the features natively, this app does quite a bit that it doesn't.
2 ★This will not work! This developer and Google should add the feature of speed limits on maps so that Andriod Auto (AA) can also reflect it. I am using this third party app which displays speed limit on Google maps but when connected with AA, it does not show the speed limit. When will you and Google provide this functionality?
4 ★deceptive in that thes screen shot showing android auto makes it seem as though this works on the car display, i get now that it does not but this should be explained, so back to waze for me. still a good app but Android auto is only useful on a car head unit not needed on the phone imho. updated to 4 stars
4 ★It works great, very useful. Just one niggle, despite configuring the app to use Google Maps only while navigating Velociraptor pops up the moment Maps is open. Be it for location sharing or checking traffic. I've removed and reinstalled yet the problem remains. Any ideas?
2 ★Recently, Velociraptor won't auto-start when Google Maps starts up, and the speedometer snd speed limit won't show up over any other app. I already tried reinstalling it. Too bad, because I loved the app to the point I had subscribed to both map providers.
5 ★Works exactly as described and with no issues I have seen. My car has an issue where the gagues turn off randomly for a minute to 3 minutes every hour or so, this is a great backup, Im sure I should get u guages fixed but this app is acurate enough to use as a bacup until I can do that
4 ★Great app which works well. My only changes would be that when two speed and limit signs are reduced in size, they could be spaced closer together. Would also be nice if it worked offline, helpful when travelling abroad where data charges are high.
