Description
The LinkBluCon mobile and wear app can be used with BluCon NightRider and Abbott's FreeStyle Libre sensor to get near real-time glucose trends.Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic patients can use this app to connect their iPhone to a BluCon device to read the Freestyle Libre sensor every 5 minutes. Readings are available to the user through a user-friendly and intuitive GUI. This relieves the user from having to scan their sensor every 5 minutes.
LinkBluCon connects to BluCon over a Bluetooth connection to display glucose trends. It also provides a logbook to view past readings. Sign-up is not compulsory.

Please note that a fingerprick test using a blood glucose meter is required during times of rapidly changing glucose levels when interstitial fluid glucose levels may not accurately reflect blood glucose levels or if hypoglycemia or impending hypoglycemia is reported by the LinkBluCon mobile app or when symptoms do not match the LinkBluCon mobile app readings.

1 ★This app IS REALLY BAD!!! When the phone is more than 30 feet from the nightrider it disconnects and will not reconnect unless you go through the setup process all over again. DO NOT USE.
3 ★The app is very accurate, though main problem is it's notification system is just a beep when his levels are low or high and not a continuous ringing system which can help you wake up at night and be more aware.
1 ★The food insights feature doesn't work it's just for show. After the latest updates now even clicking the food image doesn't work, it just reopens app whenever food image is clicked. Pathetic app after Purchasing such a high cost device
4 ★Thank you so much for the efforts. This app alerted us that my son is having a hypoglycemic episode immediately while we all were asleep (even though the numbers are not precise but I had set it to alert us at 4.5) and it did, despite the phone was silent. Thank God for his mercy and thank you guys.
5 ★This CGM is too good for real time monitoring of bg with less expenditure and getting all advance features.
2 ★App has problems with 14 day sensor. 1) Cant shut off alarm 2) wont talk to me Android watch. 3) Settings buttons on app not responding. It worked with old 10 day sensor but my brand new 14 day sensor and LinkBueCon app not talking correctly to my Samsung phone and my Samsung watch. Reinstalled app, restarted phone, and restarted my watch not. All with no help.
2 ★My phone is always crashing on a low glucose alarm. To stop the alarm I need to restart it which disconnects the blucon device from the app. Without this issue this would be an okay app for me.
5 ★I am using Linkblucon app (for Night Rider CGM device) for more than two years. Initially I was using for Libre 1 and now regularly using Libre 2; I gone US and used US14days also , I found readings very close to finger prick. I always relying on it for my insulin as I am type 2 diabetes. Currently added features like BG Alarm and graph for actual and calibration are simply amazing. I really love this device as it is helping me to keep my blood glucose with in range. Kudos to the app developer.
5 ★Apparently the libre 14 day system is not supported. Telling people this would be helpful since I just wasted $145 on a transmitter that I cannot use. Update: They gave me an RMA number and I got my new transmitter in the mail today! Works with the US 14 day sensor, perfectly.
2 ★It is great when it works ,disconnects too often, takes forever to search via bluetooth to find device, for 154 dollars I expect it to work . Very dissatisfied and disappointed
1 ★Review as of 18feb- time and again even after although the month sharing concerns on app issues not developments.. not sure how to get out of this and struck with this app and blucon.. drained my money buying this product. Disconnects very frequently and tough to re connect.. testing my patience all the time . Gets standard response from contact us that to reinstall and install the app. Wondering why no attempts made to fix the issue each of us are facing..
4 ★Overall good device, battery life indicator doesn't work only ever shows red, so no idea when the battery needs changing until it is flat. Battery life is poor Duracell only lasted 8 days.
