1 ★When the app works it's pretty nice. Unfortunately, it has worked only about 3 days out of the first 3 weeks I've had my contract. Also, very disappointed in the Angie's List approach to creating professionals service areas which are dictated to you by Angie's list versus allowing the professional to determine which zip codes (an extremely common method for determine a service area) the business wants to work in. There's no ability to turn on/off where the professional wants to advertise.

I put in my email address perfectly and it won't accept it till i do a password reset then magically it reconizes it and i can move into what sort of like the app but it has no information on the lead that i got an email about getting. Then it has basically no information about much of anything and no I'm for some reason needing to go to the play store it does an update and hopefully I'll get the lead 15 minutes later. I want a discount for my time or forget me renewing.
2 ★The leads are expensive. They are supposed to be warm leads but they're not, many never respond when we reach out. Angi says to try attempting contact right away (within a few hours), across multiple days and via multiple methods. Angi says if you do all that and can't make contact then they will credit back lead fees. That's a lie, they decline the credit request without explanation. Project info that comes with each lead is not helpful, it's more of a subject line, not much to go on.

I just signed up with angie's list as a service provider and the app won't open because the software team has not updated it to be compatible with the new android 10 software. Please fix so I don't have to use all my data using the website through my browser. I will update review once this problem is fixed.
1 ★Terrible experience and a huge waste of money. Entered into a 1-yr contract, which should have been a red flag- people would pay willingly if the product was worth it's cost. I paid $400/ month, a ridiculously high cost for the few leads doled out. After losing a lot of money, I am in the process of a complex cancellation process, during which I was billed yet another $400 and my rep, Jeff Carder, is now suddenly unable to reply to my emails or return my call. Overall: F+

1 ★I am a contractor and the sales people for angies list lied to me to make a sale I specifically asked if I could cancel my contract with Angies List anytime without penalties, and the girl said yes you can cancel anytime. When I tried to cancel 1 day later, they said that I still had to pay $400 a month for the entire year, it was in small print! They argued with me and are trying to put it on my credit. I was lied to on a recorded line. They are a scam! Do not do business with Angies List!
1 ★If you get a contract They send you bad leads or leads they send out to many other people making your paid contract useless in actually getting work that pays enough for for ads and if you feel like you are not getting what you want and want to void out the cancel fee your success manager will run down the clock till you have no choice but to pay even if they send you the incorrect leads its a waste of money and the customer service refuses to get you to anyone higher than your success manager
4 ★Good application. Had some freezing issues. Was able to clear the cache and reset the app. Messaging syatem really isn't needed. Please improve on creating friendly integrations with by messaging direct on your phone and transporting contacts easier to your phone or other softwares. Via CSV or other universal format.
1 ★I made the Ads Plan, and I didn't receive anything they promised. They said they would send me at least 20 leads per month. In the first one they sent around 12, but only one was real, the rest didn't answer calls or text messages, and two were scam attempts. I tried to resolve with the company and nothing changed. In the second and third months got worse. Tried to cancel and they charged me almost one thousand dollars. They took like 1900.00 from my account, and gave me nothing. It's a Scam!
1 ★I didn't have Angie's List until almost 7 months after having HimeAdvisor. I was wondering why my customers were saying they found me on Angies List, HomeAdvisor and Angie's List share leads and rip off the contractors. GoogleMyBusiness is very easy and free. Thumbtack is 1/4 the lead price, no subscription, and very easy. Good luck. I'm done with these crooks on HomeAdvisor and Angie's List. Glad I found out early, there are news articles about this and YouTube videos, see for yourself. Scam.
1 ★You can cancel your mbership penalty free if you do it in the first two months! 35% cancelation fee should tell you that most people would cancel after doing business with them and seeing no meaningful growth. Leads are bad and much more expensive than alternatives
