3 ★Jodel posts are good! The new chat feature is a little rough - missed notifications if the app is backgrounded, completely wrong timestamps, bits of conversation will randomly get duplicated or triplicated. Hoping it improves... Otherwise I'm going to force my new friend into a different platform 😁
2 ★Kind of a good app to connect to people. Actually, there is the danger with it. It constantly binds you to the phone, because there are endless topic where you have a comment to make on. Every jod gives you a new opportunity to chat with strangers, which produces a constant stream of dopamine. It's like smoking crack; but digitally. Watch your screen time; before and after installing that app. Reconsider the value of your free time.
1 ★Terrible. Horrible. Wants an email address to sign in. Sends a link to "verify". Said link doesn't open in the app, because it's an effing shortlink and it will lead me to some weird play store page again. Basically these dudes can't even solve a simple login. This is laughable, 0 stars.
1 ★Banned without reason. Reason was never provided to me. Support ticket came back with "we don't know why it's banned because the account is deleted so we can't look into it and we can't make exceptions then" - the account was never deleted by me and I can log into it. It is also my initial account. Nothing happened at all. Well then, I'll leave with the bad experience I had and sadly can't recommend the app.
1 ★This was a bad experience. They have some arbitrary rules that are in direct contrast to freedom of speech. The customer service tries to coax you into sending them your passport and they don't even follow their own rules. I have been repeatedly banned without telling me why. Apparently if 3 of your messages gets moderated you get banned. And that's counting massages that do not break any rules! This app is more totalitarian than Russia.
3 ★On OnePlus 7T, the only way to use Jodel now is to re-install it every single time I want to use it! It's stuck on 'Check out what [city] has to say' In order to use Jodel on my phone, follow these steps: Uninstall Jodel, Reinstall Jodel, Sign up with a new account (because sign in with Google no longer works?)... Rinse and repeat every time I close the app. Easy!
1 ★Can't even create an account to get started - it sends me an email (which got caught by my spam filter) with a link to create an account, but the link just takes me to this Google play store page. Can't sign in, can't make an account, can't see any content.
4 ★Started pushing notifications of random jodels. Had to disable all notifications from the app, since you can't turn them off from options. There goes reply notifications etc. Appreciated. Edit: Thanks, found it, this was driving me crazy.
1 ★Onboarding is broken, magic links doesn't work for me. I have to manually copy the magic link from the email text and after I paste that link to the browser. After this the link will guide me to the app, but then when I allow location permission the Jodel just freezes.
5 ★Got banned for no reason at all. It was a moderator personal opinion who made that happen, and make me lose +8 payed boost by deleting a jodel topic. what an unprofessional way to run an app and maintain customers! ___ Update 1: Thank you for the quick reply, i just sent the issue with account info so hopefully they could look in to it. ___Update 2: A very good support and in a timely manner. Problem solved, thank you very much.

1 ★I dont know what's wrong with this app. It was working perfectly fine then I didn't use for like 2 days and it stopped working. I even updated the app. Every time I open it, it says no internet connection even if I was connected.
