كان الشرح مختصرًا جدًا، اقتصرت فيه على تقرير المسألة وسنة نبيه بلسان مفهوم للناس - بإذن الله . مع الإتيان بدليلها من كتاب الله . الكريم ، ولم أستشهد - كما اعتدت بفضل الله - إلا بحديث صحيح، أما الضعيف فإذا أوردته لسبب ما فإني أبين ضعفه بإذن الله تعالى.وذكرت بعض ما نقله أهل العلم السابقين عن أسلافنا رحمهم الله تعالى. ثم إني أنبه إلى أني وإن كنت تحريت في الشرح المعاني التي أرادها الناظم، إلا أنني تعمدت أحيانا الحيدة إلى معنى آخر يوافق نص البيت لحاجتي إلى ذكر تلك المسألة.
ومن ناحية أخرى فقد رتبت ما يتعلق بأحداث يوم القيامة على الترتيب الذي ترجح عندي أنه هو الأصح، أعني ترتيب الأحداث وتعاقبها، ولم يكن الشيخ رحمه الله قد تحرى - فيما أحسب ترتيب الأحداث بحسب وقوعها، فرتبتها، وأبقيت عند كل بيت رقمه كما في ترتيب القصيدة.
