L'app "Automedicazione" è stata creata dall'Unione Nazionale Consumatori (www.consumatori.it), in collaborazione con Anifa (Associazione nazionale dell'industria farmaceutica dell'automedicazione - www.anifa.it), per aiutare l'utente ad orientarsi nel mondo delle patologie più comuni ed essere informato su cosa siano i farmaci senza obbligo di ricetta.E' molto utile anche all'estero poiché rintracciare il principio attivo può aiutare nel comunicare con un farmacista.
Nel menu principale si possono trovare le seguenti voci per una ricerca semplice dei propri bisogni:
- la sezione "disturbi" offre una consultazione rapida sull'elenco di piccoli malesseri e mette a disposizione la ricerca per i soli sintomi curabili con i farmaci senza obbligo di ricetta;
- nella sezione "farmaci" sarà possibile leggere un elenco di categorie terapeutiche e dei corrispondenti principi attivi (non i nomi commerciali dei singoli medicinali).
Un'applicazione scaricabile gratuitamente, ma che dovrà essere utilizzata dal consumatore con la giusta attenzione. Infatti i farmaci non sono prodotti come gli altri: anche per quelli senza obbligo di ricetta è necessario seguire alcune semplici regole per un trattamento consapevole, leggendo sempre il foglietto illustrativo e rivolgendosi al medico o al farmacista in caso di dubbi.
