Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★For the time I was down in Cork using the bikes (6 months, most weekends) the app performed admirably, allowing me to skip between stations + gave up to date and correct info so I could drop it off again at the nearest station. No faults with it, but would've been nice to use the Same app with the Belfast bikes as well. Also, saw somebody wondering what the phone permission was for, I believe its for calling them with issues.. Been a couple of months since I used it.
1 ★Can't use it. Crashes on startup back to home screen. On Android 6.0!
2 ★This app appears as if it was thrown together in a matter of hours, and it shows. The blatant "imitation" of iOS tabs in the A-Z list section is just laziness when Android has perfectly good alternatives, that work. Perhaps take a leaf from apps that actually have good design, and follow design guidelines?
4 ★The app seems fine to me - no crashing, no refusing to connect, the information it provides is correct. I do have a little difficulty zooming in and the map takes a little long for the resolution to clear, but these are nitpicks. I'd like the ability for a warning from the app when a station near you is nearly empty - just one warning that you could dismiss, though! Also, why does this app need Caller ID information? Besides infringing on privacy, I see no reason.
3 ★Good: Nice and easy to use. Seems like it'll be really handy once the bikes are in and it's all up and running. Bad: Wants permission to make calls. There's no explanation for this and there's no indication in the app of what it might be used for. Also you can't move the app to SD card/internal storage.
1 ★This app crashes immediately on my android. Sony Xperia running android 4.4.2. Low spec phone but app shouldn't need much. Used bike today in Cork for first time and was really impressed - would be great to have the app up and running.
3 ★App constantly logs me out and also the exact locations of the bike stands are wrong, makes a big difference with one way streets. Doesn't seem to be a way to add other cities either.
4 ★Wouldn't it be nice if I could sign up for the scheme here? But a handy app all the same.
2 ★-1 bikes available.
3 ★It works great but keeps logging me out after each use. I can see the bike stations and their status but need to log in again to see my journeys.
1 ★Error on initial load, can't open app. Android 6.0
5 ★Easy to use and great exercise!
