Глинки представляет новый взгляд на жестокие, страшные годы Великой Отечественной: время, когда вопреки войне были созданы сотни музыкальных произведений. 70 наиболее значимых стали основой экспозиции.Посетители выставки узнают об истории создания сочинений и об их авторах, многие из которых сражались на фронте или поднимали боевой дух народа в тылу; совершат путешествие из предвоенного времени на передовую, на привал после боя, на концерт фронтовой бригады и в студию Радиокомитета, откуда велись музыкальные передачи на весь мир, в концертный зал блокадного Ленинграда и на сцену театра прифронтового города.
