L’application « DÉCHETS DES MARQUES » a pour objectif d’inciter les marques à adopter des emballages plus écologiques et de sensibiliser le grand public aux enjeux de la pollution plastiqueLes utilisateurs de l’application prennent en photo des déchets abandonnés dans la nature dont la marque est visible.
La photo est ensuite partagée sur le site d’Expédition MED et s’affiche sur une carte avec la géolocalisation du déchet.
Un mail est envoyé au propriétaire de la marque
pour l’informer qu’un déchet au nom porteur de sa marque a été localisé dans l’environnement et en lui proposant des recommandations pour améliorer ses emballages.
L’objectif de cette action est double :
• Faire pression sur les marques avec les citoyens pour limiter le nombre d’emballages et de suremballages ainsi que d’en améliorer la qualité.
• Inciter les marques à renforcer les messages de sensibilisation auprès des consommateurs sur les impacts environnementaux du geste d’abandon et de la nécessité du tri de ces emballages.
