Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★The app is great, just one suggestion: it would be really helpful if I could have the food search results sorted by kjs (rather than alphabetically), so I could find the food with the lowest kj count quickly & simply. Thanks.
3 ★Nice app presentation and good data however the general interface lags between screens and it is clearly a port of the iPhone version. Look forward to a proper android optimised version.
4 ★The food database is only 'fast food', but thats all it claims so fine by me. So easy to compare fast foods. Brilliant.
5 ★Love it .. it makes weight loss simple n easy to follow highly recommended
4 ★Would be great if there was a counter in the app
5 ★Healthy eating is great
5 ★Great a+
2 ★A good concept, but the app does need work. Most food types, especially home made ones are hard to find or aren't quite right. A few technical issues on android too. Good app if a bit or variety is added.
5 ★Looks good so far
2 ★Its a government app. There is enough money to develop this further. It needs an option for a person to put what they eat during the day to find out really if they are eating too much or not enough. But everyone doesn't eat at takeaways...
3 ★Can you please increase the figures so that heavier people can enter their weight? Why does it stop at 129kg? :(
4 ★useful for cal to kj conversion and searching cal content of fast food on the occasions you do have it.
